Help me. I need to pick a profession

Hey guys. I was wondering if you guys could tell me a profession that would be good. I want to be a Ele-monk or a Rang/necro or a ranger/ele. Plz tell me if there good.imageimageimageimageimageimageimage

    The Ele-Monk combo is excellent as you can gain more Energy using the Ele's Energy Storage which then allows you to deal more damage with their skills and also keep your health up with the monks healing abilities. Another good combo is Ele-Mesmer

    El/mo or Elmo's are good because you can either go the damage part of ele/mo and just have monk to help you stay alive, or you can do what some others do and use the monk skills more and have ele energy storage.

    Ranger/necro could be a very big condition giver really slowing, poisoning, bruning, blinding, diseasing... etc. And also could be very self sustaining with some of the necro leech spells.

    My advice is to just test out both, see what you like better,

    You can make up to 4 different characters on the same account. Why not give em all a shot and see which one you like better?

    If you go Ranger/Necro. go the opposite, Necro/Ranger. That's what I use and I find it very easy for PvP and PvE. The only thing I pump into ranger is Beast Mastery and my necro spells are damaging and life sustaining.

    I only read your post,.I dont need to read the rest,.the reason is simple,.Anyone can make any combo work good,.Some may say Rangers are better ,others may say necro,.I like to say Worrior..

    From what I have seen from over 100hours of pvp is this,..

    E/Mo Is a powerfull team player,can deal a ton of dmg.

    N/Me Can Kick the crap out of you fast, and if left alone can win the fight for a team.

    R/Me Can be a Powerfull team player,And can Solo alot of RPG stuff.

    W/Mo probly the best worrior combo,And can solo alot of RPG stuff.

    R/W Is a powerfull team player in melee, Axe/poisen/traps/Blind 100% deadly.

    The options are endless,It dont matter what combo you have,.as long as you pick the role you want to play,And understand your skills, I feel 100% you can make what ever combo you have work just fine.

    Im not sure about soloing in the RPG part with some of them combos.but im sure if you ask,theres players with all types of combos soloing out there with out to many problems,Each profession will have a easy and hard place to solo in the game.

    For high-end pvp you are going to want to be a monk, a warrior, a ranger or a mesmer.  But if you ever hope to make it to high-end pvp you are going to need a good pve/farming toon too.  For that you will either want a n/something or an e/something.  I've played with every ele primary combination with all of the available skills during beta and I chose to go e/n because I can switch between a pure damage farmer and a high-survivaibility farmer as the need arises and still have fun in in pvp too.  Even though I tend to get stomped in high-end pvp as an ele.

    Elementalist monk is pretty good... But... Dont just take elementalist ranger or ranger elementalist... Because you should have staff and longbow in same time at hand what u cant do ... If you got elementalist staff you cant use some of rangers skill, because you dont have bow... and elementalists needs usually staff image

    it all depends on what spec you want your character to be...
    if you want to take hits ... be a w/m
    if you want to focus on killing monks in pvp be a mesmer
    it just all depends on what you want to do to help your team win ...
