The main item i was wondering , is there away to switch side now from cov to coh. Like can i run a series of quest and take my favorite cov robots to the coh side and now be good and run quest with the heroes and well be a hero ?
Well i guess after the last few hours and no one has replied it tells me one thing . this game is dead.. time to really move on..

The Going Rogue expansion was released back in August of last year and it allows heroes to switch to villain side and vice-versa. There are even alignments in between hero and villain for those who like the flexibility of switching sides instantly. Being full hero or villain has it advantages, though.
Official game forums are where most forum-goers discuss a game. This site should be taken for a grain of salt when evaluating a game's activity level. CoH is far from dead and has two very active servers right now. If you are that impatient about waiting for a response on a forum, maybe MMOs aren't for you. Most of them require significant investments of time to gain full enjoyment out of them, unlike console games.
Thank you for the replies, sorry for the dead game part , but as an mmo player i know it is the best way to draw out mmo players.
the two serves that are busy i hope one will be virtue. this was me and the wifes server from launch and both have 2 50's but we have decide to buy two complete GR boxes and start fresh and new . part of the funs is gathering enough fund for power slots. Though the wife hated CoV i loved the whole villian thing and loved the robots . Question though is there a level i must be before i can start to come over to hero side to level with my wife new toon ?
also thanks again the wife and i are looking to pass the time until Swtor comes out and She started talking What about RIFT..
CoX is good to pass the time, but until the Incarnate content is sorted out I wouldn't stick with it long term IMVHO.
Virtue has overtaken Freedom as the number 1 server -- both are very populated though. The European servers are now also available to play on from the server list. I think some people bailed from Freedom because Freedom was the recommended go-to server and thus attracted some of the vocal immature types that infest all mmo's, the pvp'ers congregated there, and the people that want to farm their way to 50 (mind-boggling). All-in-all, still a fun and entertaining game with a population that is generally quite nice.
So, if you get Going Rogue and start as Praetorian, then you play the first 20 levels in Praetoria. The nice thing about this is that every AT is available there (as opposed to starting out only as a hero AT in Paragon or only a villain AT in the Rogue Isles). In Praetoria (which I recommend you try out, there's great story arcs that throw you straight into the moral dilemmas), you would have to play through the 20 levels and then get the option to go to Paragon (or RI).
Now, if you start villain side (or hero-side), you will eventually starting getting alignment tip missions for defeating enemies (regardless if you have GR) after level 20. After completing 10 of those tips, you'll get a morality tip (if you have GR), which you can complete to move along the spectrum (hero/vigiliante/rogue/villain).
Rift is a WoW-clone -- take that as praise or damnation depending on your outlook If you enjoyed WoW and just want a little twist to it with a new storyline, you might like Rift. If you're tired of WoW's gameplay, then you'll quickly get tired of Rift.
Also, for what it's worth, there have been some deals on Going Rogue because of the 7 year anniversary -- not sure if they're running, but I'd say do a quick check online for a deal before opting to pay full price. Also note, if you buy through steam, all they're doing is giving you a code and then you're downloading the software from Paragon anyway -- I write this so you don't feel like you have to create anew account or anything.
Best of luck in your decision and, if you return, have fun!
