I have been playing Wizards 101 for a very long time now, and have enjoyed the game immensely. I have a legendary ice wizard, legendary myth wizard and a legendary storm wizard. Now working on fire.
But I have a problem with the new Dragon's Hoard Pack that is for sale in the crowns shop. What is the problem you ask? Just this. Since the Dragon's Hoard was released the amount of begging going on within the game is incredible. You cannot walk through commons without being bombarded by kids who cannot afford it, but are hoping that if they beg long enough, sombody will buy it for them just to shut them up. They are seriously willing to do anything to get this. I have even had friends on my list who have asked me repeatedly if I have crowns and would please buy them the Dragon's Hoard. To which I reply, "I worked for my crowns, and if you want it that bad earn the money to buy it." To which I have been called a lot of things, and usually end up deleting them.
The Dragon's Hoard Pack says that you may get a dragon to ride, plus some pretty good gear. But they don't tell you that you may have to repeatedly purchase the pack before you get the dragon, which is what the kids want. There are things for sale within the crown shop that you can purchase with gold also. Couldn't you offer a smaller Dragon's Hoard Pack for those that have gold, but cannot afford to purchase the one with crowns?
The game is a wonderful game for kids, but I am getting to the point that I dread even going on, because I know what will happen when I do. I am hoping that it will die down eventually, but this is the worst I have ever seen in the game. For new players who are only interested in playing and leveling at first, it puts a bad light on the game to see all the begging going on.

You've hit one of the many reasons people have left the game, kids and parents alike. Since you have been playing the game for awhile you know the many other reasons people leave. I was there before Dragonspyre was released and stopped playing due to many issues, I came back and tried Celestia but stopped playing quickly due to the same crap and saw a few things had even changed for the worse. I've heard repeatedly from people who still play from time to time that they new winter world is lame. My nephew who absolutely loves this game is even disappointed, first bad thing I have ever heard him say about the game.
