Apart from the fact that the FBi and Scotland Yard have both said they have found substantial evidence he had more to do with them than the IRC server.

Not to mention that everytime The Jester, or someone gets caught, they "disappear" for a day or two then try to say nothings changed.

3 people got caught in spain.  1 person in the UK.   A certain group of hactivists have uncovered the Real LIfe ID's of the group and have given them to the FBI and CIA.  When this was announced, lulzsec went  very very quiet. As if they were moving their gear or hiding.

Look at the overall picture.  Don't just selectively pick things out.  Remember, lulzsec are criminals. They are not just people trying to show up company security.   People who delibratley hack government websites and post confidential information of millions of people,  are pure criminals.

Besides, a certain attorney in New York has already suggested that when the rest get caught and prosecuted, theyre looking at upwards of 30 years in prison with no parole.  And i'm pretty sure that the kids who got caught in spain and the UK aren't going to want to be extradited and spend the majority of their lives in a High security United States prison.   They'll spill everything they have, pretty damn fast.

Sorry i didnt mean the jester getting caught. I meant when the jester reports someone to the FBI or CIA.

It seems like every time someone is arrested one of these agencies claims they have caught the person behind the Sony hacks.

I'm glad the governments of the world are taking action, but I really believe they have not caught anyone of worth yet and are just trying get low level people to flip on the next guy up the crime chain.

It is nice to see some action, but I think that is why there are press reports like this.  To show that something is happening.

Notice how after they caught 3 of them in spain and this latest guy, the "hacks" have suddenly turned into DDOS attacks? With the excuse, " we dont need to hack so and so website".    Not to mention when the first 3 got caught, lulzsec were quiet for almost 48 hours.  And after this latest guy got caught, they went very quiet and said they " were watching movies"...

Yea, theyre just a bunch of moronic kids.  The main culprits have been arrested, thus the hacking has stopped.  Lulzsec are trying to put on a very brave face, even after the jester posted all their real Info online and sent it to the FBI/CIA/Interpol. When he announced this,  the actual minds behind lulzsec went very quiet, and from various "closed" IRC logs, they said to each other that they had moved to avoid detection.

I really have not been following lulzsec, so I will have to take your word for it that things have slowed down.  That still doesn't mean they caught the people responsible for the attacks.  They could just be getting close which is enough to scare people.

why do you even bother to waste your time with these skiddies? in the end you're the one who's making them "famous" by providing the req amount of attention while all they have to do is copy paste some shet from google, thats how "hackers" are invented nowadays.

If the government was smart they would hire Lulzsec and pay them good dollars. Problem is that Lulzsec cant stand the government.

I highly doubt the government needs some basement nerds to ddos websites for them.  On a serious note about the topic... they have been releasing peoples information from the sony hack.  I dunno about the rest of you, but when someone steals and leaks my information, thats a hit against me.  I really don't want personal data being leaked for spammers and scam people to get ahold of.

This. The government recognizes talent when it sees it, and this is not talent. It's a two week crash course via Google culminating in severe, but meaningless, annoyance. Grats Lulz, hope your fun was worth 10-15.
