Red Dead redemption certianly proved that the setting can make for some great gameplay and with the over saturated fantasy genre, I'll gladly welcome a game like this.
I haven't played Red Dead Redemption (isn't it console only?) but i would certainly play an expanded Call fo Juarez MMO. Even Fallout had the wild west feel to it and would have been great as multiplayer or MMO. Fantasy is getting old and there is a lack of other settings -or at least good ones that aren't ancient- so a Wild West MMO would be more than welcome.
If they release Red Dead Redemption in PCs, Id drop the mmos Im playing for it in a heartbeat. o.o

Full loot upon death, FFA everywhere with the only police force being other players... Yeah sounds good. Oh wait you didn't want it that wild did you? lol, so what do you want to do then? Quests for the local police force hunting down bounties on AI? Sounds like another boring MMOG.
I'd like a WIld West MMO. RDR mmo would be great....but perhaps its better as it is...limited FPS battle maps or scenarios. I tried A WIld West Mod. for M&B: Warband. Well...I downloaded it at any rate. Playing through Steam I never see any servers setup for the Mod.

I have to agree. This genre would only be fun if it was truly wild. Somehow though, I think that it would get a bit boring if it was all too historically correct. So I would like to see a bunch of cool steampunk stuff too (Wild, Wild West), and maybe some zombies, and magic thrown in for good measure (The Dark Tower series).

Frontier has been in development for a very long time, without any results shown, I have a feeling that game will never be more than that web-page.
