in SWTOR What class and what advanced class do you want to play and why?
What is your personal point of view on why you want to play those classes?
What is your rp/roleplay perspective on why want to play those classes?
As a player why do you want to play those classes?
although the questions are similar they are not the same.
I see myself playing a Jedi counsuler.
from a personal standpoin:t they they follow my beliefs I shall not let anyone govern me except reason. I love the force and lightsabers are awesome.
from a roleplay point of view: I am different than most I will observe and not be noticed until i make my move. I will fight to protect what i believe is right with my life. and you nore anyone of you peices of scum will change that. I have an open mind but I will not be tricked into going against my beliefs.
from a player perspective: I am good at being a damage dealer and maybe a little bit of healing the group usually good at playing a mage style character.
As far as advanced class i see myself playing a Jedi Shadow.
From a personal standpoint: the jedi fallow my beliefs, I love the double bladed lightsabers and being able to nock someone back with the forces makes me happy.
from a roleplay point of view: I will hide in the shadows and listen for it is knowledge i see and the more I have the stronger i am. if you so much as turn your back to me your will die without knowing i did it. I will not stand for the sith but they will die in my wake. for they will not see me coming.
froma a player perspective: I am excellent with a rogue like character being able to sneak up on a enemie and crit makes it worth it. or being able to deal massive damage is awesome from up close and at a distance.
Games I will be playing are: TES V, SWTOR, ME 3, TSW

Heh , I'll start off as a SW:ToR buyer then advance at installing the game to my PC and advance even further when I actually play it and start having some fun !
This probably doesn't awnser your question , but from where I stand , it goes a pretty long way.
It's like asking a kid when its young , "Hey there little one , what do you want to become when you grow up?" Kid : "A Ghostbuster!"
15 years later , the kid ends up working at a burger king.
thats funny I know what you mean though. Some people might have there minds made up or may have a class they prefer to play. for me I am not a tank type of player and nore do i play sword users . I perfer either mage damage dealer or rogue style characters.

I intend to play on a PvP server, so I will play a Trooper Commando eventhough I'm not sure that I will enjoy his story.
From a gameplay standpoint Commando seems to have : survivability, dpsing, healing at range!!...so...yeah...

I think i answered this already.. but oh well..
the idea of a fully light side sith sorcerer that channels the dark side of the force to destroy people with lightning while simultanously saving puppies and healing people sounds well... unique. so i might try that.

Sith Assassin because it has burst melee dmg. Also double-bladed light sabre.
Maybe Marauder SW but I want to mix some force in as well and SW is just pure melee i think.
"To be a rock and not to roll..."
thats what i am thinking by going with the jedi shadow
Games I will be playing are: TES V, SWTOR, ME 3, TSW
As any true Mass Effect players (those who played as Female Shepard) know there is only one choice, Republic Trooper.

I have to agree with you but i played a biotic in both ME1 and ME2 it was amazing
Games I will be playing are: TES V, SWTOR, ME 3, TSW
ALL of them. 2 characters for each class so that I can play all advanced classes. Going to start with Republic Trooper Commando because I like Big Guns.
I played Sheppard as a sniper, so imperial agent sounds more appealing for that. I also just realized that Chiss can ONLY be imperial agents, so that kinda limits my choices quite a bit.

Here's the problem with that thinking.
The fact that you can roll a Republic Trooper named 'Jane Shepard' who is the same VA from the ME series.
Yeah.......

lol I sucked with a sniper rifle in Mass Effect. lol i guess it does leave you with only one choice or maybe a couple choices.
Games I will be playing are: TES V, SWTOR, ME 3, TSW
not sure where you get the trooper from.. would have thought Commando would have been more appropriate.. and as the republic = evil/bad guys.. tbh, though, with the probable exception of the varying jedi classes, the rest should not be limited to either faction.. pigeonholing them into either is... odd.. and more than a little limiting..
I'll play each class to around 10 then decide; I'm not making my mind up based on previews and spoilers.
I heard from Devs that the Imperial Agent has the best story similar to the Shepard's one. And that the trooper's story is more a "shoot everething and execute order (66)" type like in...um...Starship Troopers?

It is all about the VA for me.
Yes, I am a massive Jennifer Hale fan.
Think I played every game she was in except Killer7. o_O

as i have been for years on end, I will be a sith warrior and a true tank
Sith Warrior, Juggernaut, but specced into Vengeance rather than Immortal... a kind of supporting/controling middleground character,
in matters of alignment rather "dark jedi" than true sith, just and cold, but no bloodlust or cruelty.

I've been hesitating for a while.. The Trooper look very cool and a lot of fun.. But I think I'll go with the Jedi Sage.. He seems to be the best healing class.. I might change my mind when they'll release more info about it and its progression video though..
It is the game in general that interests me and the worlds. I will probably toss a coin most of the classes have merits and most seem to be multi functional so they will mostly be able to hold their own.
I will get back to you when the game releases, until it does there is no point over analysing.

Sorcery must persist, the future is the Citadel
As of right now I plan to be a Bounty Hunter, most likely Powertech but I don't rule out the Mercenary.
From an RP standpoint going to play her pretty close to myself, which means a really odd mixture of traits :P But likely end up very much towards the Light side of things and very focused on honor. Not at all bloodthirsty, will only kill as necessary and if she feels it is deserved. Will have no special hatred for the Republic, probably just see them as misguided and outdated.
Smuggler - Scoundrel. Hopefully a Zabrak if possible. Wanting to see what the neutral path gives me
Inqusitor Sorcerer (Sith Pureblood). To fry some Jedis :P
Smuggler here, not sure what advanced class yet though.
