    1. Hardest MMO - Why? - Probably EVE, because of a steep learning curve. I'm not into masochism, so I don't need my entertainment to punish me for valuable e-wang points.

    2. Best PVP - Why? DAoC. Three-way conflicts are always fun.

    3. Best PVE - Why?  Hmmm.  A lot of good choices for that one.  Let's vote for WoW simply on the basis of polish and depth.

    4. Best Dev Customer Service - By process of removing the worst CS, I'm left with ANet or NCSoft.  But no personal experience with either, the games ran smoothly enough that I never required an open ticket with either company.

    5. Most Polished (overall) - Virtually everything on the market more than five years (and not in financial trouble) gets pretty polished. Some just suffer from Old Game Engine Syndrome.  UO's still running, right?  Longest dev cycle, ancient engine.

    6. Brightest Future - Any game that can avoid the F2P cashshop trap.

    7. Most Intense - Opening week, any game.  Also wins award 7a--Most Frustrating.

    8. Easiest - Probably one of the (many) Sad WoW Clones.

Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.

    2. Best PVP - Darkfall Online because you occasionally feel something that other games do not ever give you . .. adrenaline rush.

    3. Best PVE - Darkfall Online because the mob AI is superior and difficult with unexpected dangers that may come up.

    4. Best Dev Customer Service - Devs have customer service? Again I would go with Darkfall. I have never waited for than a few minutes to have my issue resolved.

    5. Most Polished (overall) - Guildwars. Awesome game with lots of spells and skills. Miracle that it is so balanced.

    6. Brightest Future - Guildwars will be the next WoW for many kiddies who cannot afford to buy expansions.

    7. Most Intense - Darkfall. By Far.

    8. Easiest - meh. Guildwars probably if you like PVE and can look up good PVP builds online.

    1. Hardest MMO Ultima Online. We were not used to play so massively...

    2. Best PVP - Dark Age of Camelot. No discussion here, hands down.

    3. Best PVE - Lord of the Rings Online. Many games did well on pve...

    4. Best Dev Customer Service - This one is too subjective.

    5. Most Polished (overall) - Again, Daoc.

    6. Brightest Future - We'll see...I have my wishes.

    7. Most Intense - Everyone of us carries one in his heart.

    8. Easiest - World of Warcraft. Yes it is, you know, and you know also that's why you were addicted to it! ^^

I wonder for the day when we could judge mmorpgs by overall appeal, and find one great above every criteria.
