D&L video

This video has me thinking D&L will be THE game when it is released...however it could also be a let down.  The graphics look great.  Nothing to special about them but it is plenty good enough to compete with the graphics of other games.  Also if you listen to the person playing you will learn a few D&L features if you didn't know them already.

    heheh.. why? all it shows is the the guy flying around on a dragon? i mean... i believe D and L looks somewhat promising.. but all that is really added is the huge world. And that isnt really that big of a factor seeing as you can simply goto your map and instantly goto your destination. Besides the huge world, not much if anything is innovative.

    very impressive grahpics wise, and i do love dragons (favorite mythological creature) ::::02:: and the world size looked immense, but what good is all that transportation if you simply point... click... YOU'RE THERE! lol i agree with tumbler on this one, but what he said about that spell i really liked to, how you have to make sure all the stars in the solar system are aligned, that was innovating i thought.

    Thats not strictly true.

    Devs say that there will be complex interaction between political management of areas (by barons etc), economics and war. I think in the latest Q&A, there was the example given of a city under siege - the the besieger could effectively stop any caravans enetering the city thereby depriving the city of revenue. In turn that would limit the economic power of the duke/baron of the land to get things done.

    Could all be hot air but then again it might not be!

    The "point and click" in the movie is a Dev tool, not a game feature
