Internet Explorer problems. Can't surf mmorpg.com from home :((

Since this is really the only forum i post on, i need to ask a technical question here.

Whenever i try and open Internet Explorer (or Mozila) on my home computer, i get a  "page cannnot be displayed" or "Internet Explorer cannot find the search page" error message.

I can't reach my home page or any other page on the internet.

What seems really strange, is that i am definitely connected to the internet since programs like yahoo messenger, skype and steam work.

Any advice on how to fix this greatly appreciated!!

    if you use a router than something got screwed up with the connection otherwise try restarting the modem if you have one.

    also you can try opening your network connections and check whats wrong there, you can usually fix it by right clicking the internet connection and restarting it or disconnect it then restart it after a couple minutes

    usually works for me

    Thanks Guys.

    Problem solved. My ISP decided to change the DNS numbers it uses without telling me!

    Corrected now and no probs.
