I´ve been playing this game for a about a week and i have maybe only met like 10ppl? The game is about to be released but why are there no players or is it just me as a low lvl30?(noone in chat or trade)? isnt this game worth trying and is it another pre-doomed MMO?

First time hearing anything about this game.
Looks more like a wow clone than anything.

I'm not defending this game or anything but i hate ppl who have no other thing to say than a another game is a WOW clone... just that when a game has sword, shield and a helmet in it doesn't mean it is a WoW clone.
Anyways i think it is not a wow clone for ur reply rather reminds me Aika or Ruins of Magic.
I didn't say it is a wow clone, just that it looks like it. I've haven't played the game, and I'm judging only what I saw in that video. Maybe you could tell me how this game is different.
Also, who is Aika?

It is F2P soon to be released MMORPG and the point is it is no diffrent than any other MMO just that it for some reason has no ppl playing in the beta server, that what bothers me not that how it looks like or what makes it special... do be clear, i cant find anything what makes this game any diffrent from other MMO-s besides it has free pvp what is MUST HAVE for oldschool pvpsharks.
Never heard a thing about it before now, if it wasnt for your forum post being on the ticker, probably never would have heard of it ever.
I think that probably answers why youve not seen more than 10 people, devs cant just make a game and bring it out without doing some work on public relations to
Well now the public discussion has begun so hope to see more MMORPG-ians looking into it, not ready to quit on this game yet specially with the release coming up in few weeks.
This game looks like absolute garbage. If this game came out 4 years ago, it might still be considered garbage. It brings literally nothing to table in terms of gameplay, nor graphics, nor novel concepts. Go find a better game to play Rain-Man. You are looking at a game made from a generic engine from a team that thought they could cash in on a F2P korean bubble.
Probably because it looks like WoW and plays like an Asian grinder. That may fly in Sinapore, but in North America/Europe, HoT will launch to little fanfare, and die just as quietly. As one of the over one thousand Asian MMOs that will launch this year (yes, that is a real figure), picking this out is like finding a specific worker ant in a colony. They all look the same, function the same, and die the same.
I'm sorry but it looks bloody awful. I watched that first look video and there was no sense of emotion or drama. The first major thing that turned me off was the blocky textures of fallen rubble. They looked like something from 1999, and there was no spaces where the rubble had fallen from on the walls. The walls were shiny new and there was this rubble...from somewhere. Then there were monstrous looking beings stood around fighting two guards at once and no dead...just injured guards sitting next to the invaders fighting. That shows a lack of thought.
Then I paused and read the text in one of the quest windows. That's when I stopped the video and thought no more about the game. Did a bunch of ten year olds make this?
I commend small teams for working on a game as large as an MMO, but they need to learn to write English. No one can grumble when a cheap looking game fails to draw in people.
And what was with all the pink. That created characted appeared to be male, but he was covered from head to toe in pink and looked like a cross-dresser.
Sorry, but no thanks. I'll pass and wait for GW2.
.
Terribly sorry old chap but it just looks like more mindless dross with an anime veneer. Gamers are drowning in this kind of crap right now.
If you dig it that's cool but don't be surprised if it fails to gather steam.
There is a finite amount of mmo players it seems.
the main issue isnt this game in particular!people dont tolerate secret in mmo anymore
they want to know what the endgame is yes but wont grind just because the corp feel player should just climb in an try
if it was sub system, player would prob try but games like silkroad online made player think a lot now
like why so much secret do they have something to hide ,nope the most often answer is there is nothing secvial at endf game
remotey (mmohut)might be doing review but lets be real in most occasion it doesnt affect player number why?
come on 15 minute of game play in a game give you want level 5 .what is there to see at level 5
those review and reviewer need to change method
call the game maker ask to get a fully max level character where the main fun should be
nothing can be gained by seeing a level 5 character progression lol all the game are the same at those level yes even aika
imagine this the reviewer go review aika at level 5
but the stuff is later the dungeon the hell mode, the relic war the interserver war
the political backstabing you the city by going pvp to get control etc all that happen in real time
you see the effect etc
but to see all that you need to be way more then level 5 lol
Hello
I have been playing since the 8 th of August and when I reach level 28, it becomes difficult to level. Population is still low as I speak. Problem is little advertising and the grind needed to get exp.
I see no AOE skills on my tank class to pull enough mobs to grind compared to Archlord. There is only three daily quests that can be done once per day that give good exp.
The cargo escort event during double exp requires 2 gold, which is hard to collect. So the game mechanics are disappointing and I believe this is why people stop playing, it is not going to change because the 0.96 patch was released today, no new quests were added for aditional exp.
Positive aspect, the game is open pvp and this keeps everyone alert. Pity few players online. Hope the game changes, good game to play if there were more quests.
Thanks
For the record, Aika isnt a WoW Clone. It has turn based Combat LOL.
You have answered your own question. Very few people like open world pvp to begin with. There are several low end games that have open world pvp now and the game has nothing else to offer. After reading some of the other posts in here it seems quite obvious the game has no following. If you cant get people into a free beta then you certianly wont get them into a game where you have to start paying to advance. Of course with F2P games there is no significant difference between last beta stage and "release" date as they rarely do an end of beta wipe and the cash shop is open. For games like this "release" is kind of meaningless as the game is in fact released.
i just looked at the games site. The classes look gender locked and race locked, AND they look like they are based on DnD templates LOL. Rogue hafling? lol
