Oh nice...another asian game that will have a gap between the original release of one year...so western waits for a year plus for patches and content..in relation to asians, aion the same.

It is very likely. EQ2 started this 2 years ago or so and once Wow had followed a few months after it was more or less accepted as the standard P2P model.

To me at least it seems like all future P2P games will sell pets and fluff, and only the older small games haven't bother to add this yet.

Yeah, it sucks but I don't know how we will avoid it since everyone is doing it. Blaming Aion isn't right, it was far from the first game that added stuff like this.

Sadly do I think that this is what really will kill the P2P games in favor of F2P, before were the main argument of P2P game that we didn't get an itemshop.

Well then I hope they have a "turn pets off" option in the menus, so I don't see it :), If I can't see it, it doesn't exist :P

I don't really have a problem with cosemtics, since I'll never buy them, the only time I bought fluff is for guild wars, felt bad playing the bad for so long and only paid the box price.......since the game campaign and expansion was on sale so I got them really really cheap :D

one way to stop it is IF no one bought things from it, no reason to put something no one will use, but we know some people really don't want that.

Wonderful to live here in the west. Example: I've always wondered why a woman can go pool side with not much more than a string to cover up with but let the same woman go out in a bra and panties and she would be locked up. ODD

They dont allow it on the street becouse kids might see it. But it is ok at the pool and beach while youll find more kids there then on the street.

such a shame i would definetly go out for a walk more often:)

Well I'm not saying I hate cosmetic cash shop or whatever, just saying as long as it doesn't affect me or isn't compulsory, I really wouldn't care about it. I understand how some people do love these kinda stuff, but I don't like how the pets make MY client runs slower, so turn it off for me is all I need :)

Delaying this game for another year is practically release-suicide. And the only content this will have is massive geargrind, aside from after-thought pvp minigame pvp features.

At least that's how it looks in Korea so far, aside other problems (main guy quitting, population problems ...).

The market won't wait, and there's some heavy competition coming ...

are you seriously saying whether you play an mmo has to do with tit size?  hope you are joking (and if you are it was still a sad joke).

I dislike when things are censured. I have a mind...I do not need some PoS Government Agency to tell me what is "good for me to view". If I want to see panties or cleavage, that's my choice. If parents don't want their kids to see those...liek, omigosh..BE A PARENT AND DON'T LET THEM PLAY.

PS: I dislike all censuring. Rather it be nudity, voilence, or restricting the truth.

Im quite interested in this game, but i fear i wont have time to play this game. Lots of good quality sp and mmo are releasing soon.

Was excited for this game at first and still am but on a smaller scale. With GW2 coming up and now Skyrim close to the end of the year I'm not too sure I'll have time for this game...

With Mr Park, founder of BHS leaving the company the future does not look bright for TERA :(

    I second that....

    Game The World!!!

    So sad...

I was looking to play this, nut, with the time push I will be deep into SWTOR by then.

I will not get into a MMO only to leave to get into yet another one, and do nothing in either.

I had hoped this game would be entering open beta soon with a launch before Christmas, preferably september/october. I want an MMO to fill in the gap between Aion and TERA I had hoped to play TERA for 6 months, now I doubt I will play it. Not when it will be competing against GW2.

  • deathcoydeathcoy Member Posts: 3

Its good they spending more time polishing. KR Tera went down hill after a month due to severe lack of content, i hit max level and got all +7/+9 crafted/laby gear within 1 month. But i dunno if they can take the competition in 2012. In any case i think they will push forward the release date due to insufficient funds much like how KR Tera had a premature release.

As people have already said - TOR,GW2, and even Skyrim will be out by the time TERA launches..

I think this game will be a minuscule blip on th radar here in the west.

TERA: True Action Combat! Coming to you sometime in the future after a lot of people have forgot about us and are playing other games!

    I'm definitely not bitter. :/

  • RinnaRinna Member UncommonPosts: 389

Personally I think it should wait until GW2 and SWTOR lose some of their flair... maybe summer 2013.  Release 'right' or die... seems to be an important business motto for mmo's.

    No bitchers.

I'm happy with the decision to push back to early 2012. The game looks amazing and more polish will make it even better, and it will be worth the wait. Oh and I'll have more time to play Skyrim and Battlefield 3 and other great games :>
