The analog stick on my psp is broken. I discovered it today when i went to go play tiger woods, a strictly analog stick game. IT will move left, right, up, but not back. Just wondering if anyone has had any similar problems. Anyways I called sony and they said that it can be replaced so I am sending it in tommorow. It was a hassle though. Has anyone else sent there psp hardware into sony?

Ive had my psp since launch and havent experienced any problems so far. But knowing sony its bound to happen , my ps2 is so incredibly broken at times yet my gamecube and xbox work flawlessly. I think it takes them a couple weeks to replace it though which sucks , doesnt matter anyway since all the good games are coming out near the end of next month.
I haven't had any major problems with my PSP. The only real problem was that the door wouldn't shut where the UMD's go. It would latch, but it wasn't flush with the rest of the system. I took it back thinking it was a flaw in just that one, but the new one they gave me had the same problem. I just assumed it was a flaw in the overal design on Sony's part. Anyone else notice that it looks like the door doesn't look shut on theirs??
I am so depressed now since I just got hotsots golf also... ITS KILLING ME!

Where did you buy it from? Perhaps you bought a product replacement plan? Or maybe it is still covered by the warranty?
