Hello, I am new here image I was just wondering, how do you beta test?  Hehe  I am a big n00b image.  Hope someone can reply!

    True beta testing is trying to crash the client and find any bugs and exploits you can find. Then you send everything you find off to the devs that'll fix those problems. You do this in the hopes of making the game bug free.

    Beta testing a game is to play it and try to find any bugs or imbalance in the game play that needs to be fixed. Then you report the problem to the devs so that they can work on it. It is a period of time the devs allow you to play for free in order to help them figure out what works and what doesn't basically. :) You can sign up for beta on the games' websites. :) Hope that helps. :)

    I guess there are some people that use beta testing as a way to play new games for free. But the people that create these games need testers that really will help by trying all aspects of the game and report on any errors or shortcomings they find. Players that perform this service help to make the game better for everyone.

    Aside from what everyone else mentioned which are things I would definetly want in a tester; an important aspect of beta testing is telling all your friends.  Beta tests not only allow the developers to find bugs, but also to advertise.  If they just wanted to find bugs then most would save money during closed tests and do it in house.
