The Staff of MMORPG.COM have time and again explained why arena games and instanced games like Guild Wars are allowed to be listed on the site. MMORPGS have changed a lot including MMOFPS, MMORTS and the likes. As mentinoned while the game has a lobby it is rather massive and online. The nature of MMOs have changed a lot and thus MMORPG has changed with the ever changing nature of Massively Online games.

same as LoL HoN and alll this MOBA
I fail to see how a MOBA counts as an MMO.
It is best for the industry the MMO throne remains an dusty empty seat never to be filled.
MMO stands for Massively Multiplayer Online.
Wrath of Heroes lets a massive amount of multiple people play online at once. Therefore, it is an MMO.
Since when is Tuesday a direction?
Interesting point. I guess I was biased as well regarding that therm, being used to call every MMORPG out there "MMO".
Let's admit though, that most people out there will indeed think of MMORPG when they see MMO; I think it's firmly rooted in the gaming culture by now.
but it's not an mmorpg.
This website is called, mmorpg, as in massive multiplayer online role playing game.
Your turn.
