Well, it depends on what genre you like, but i'll give up my favorites, as your on this web site, so RPG wouldn't be far off i spose.
* Dues Ex: Human Revolution
* The Witcher 2: Assasins of Kings
*Assasin's Creed (s) (There's 3)
*Portal 2
* From Dust
not sure what the release dates on them are, but they are all great (in my opinion anyways)
hope it helps!
As for Where to buy them, i assume Steam has them all. Some i got off steam, some i got -elsewhere-
The Deep Web is sca-ry.
Try this games
The Witcher 2
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Deus X: Human Revolution
Rage
Portal 2
Dragon Age 2
Mass Effect 3
Diablo 3
Dead Space 2
Guild Wars 2
This are the latest games as of 2011
Out of the games that are already available, here are the ones that I know are good:
- The Witcher 2 (it's challenging, but very well done imho)
- Portal 2 (This game is just pure fun. Hard to describe, other than an action-puzzle game)
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (another awesome RPG)
There's other games, but those are the only ones I'd highly recommend that are 2011. There are also other games that are highly anticipated, but haven't released yet, so I won't recommend them (as I haven't really played them). They are of course:
Elder Scrolls Skyrim
Battlefield 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Diablo 3 (don't think it has a release date yet)
Star Wars: The Old Republic (Releases Dec. 20th I think)
Guild Wars 2 (no release date yet)
The Secret World (don't think this one has a release date yet either, not sure)
The above list also goes (more or less) in order of anticipation, so the ones at the top seem to be more popular than the ones at the bottom in the western market.
