There is a game called Bounty Hounds Online listed under the games list on this site that the wife and I are playing in beta after deciding to give it a test. We had been looking for something to "carry" us over until the release of Star Wars KOTOR. This game is it and here is why.
The wife and I had a few key features in mind for our carry over game such as: Sci-Fi, persistent world, a follow key or feature (necessary for husband and wife teams), big guns and weapons and nice looking armor, decent graphics, a jump key, WASD movement, free to play, available but not forced PvP and the ability to have a pet.
This game delivers on this and has a few "extras" such as:
Customization of your gear and pet (so much so that we admit we do not fully understand it yet), easy to find quest system, a city with a nightclub and dancers, giant mechs roaming around and extensive crafting system.
Now we have not been playing long and certainly are not experts but wanted to share this little gem with anyone else who needs asomething to keep them busy. If you like Sci-fi give it a shot. It is currently in beta and as a freebie you have nothing to lose.

XD Oh well. I actually gave this beta game a try after I read this. ( was looking for something for lulz anyways) and it's actually not that bad. o.O; I've been playing it all weekend.
I just finished download error ip block read forum cant play in usa great!! just so you know before you waste hour downloading

I'm in the USA and was IP blocked.
I can't even complete registration. Registered on 2 or 3 different e-mails to see if my AOL E-mail was a prob but never got the completion E-mail on any of em.
Another thing you can check if it looks like registration is completing but you aren't getting an email is to make sure noscript is off, should you happen to be using that with Firefox. Also try registering from Internet Explorer if you didn't already.
