Hackers ruin yet another fps game...sigh

Is it just me or does it seem that every FPS comes to this eventually. I just finished a game with my tier 10 Maus with a Light tank that took 0 damage and killed everyone in 1 shot lol....gotta hate cheaters, get a life.
I don't mind, since he was on my team, free win, but still com'on man. 3 second game ftl

How have you not seen one of those guys already? I recall numerous cheats to the point where a match without a hacker was a rare thing. (Hell I think the hitbox skins are tecnically cheating, but the devs disagree.
I do recall plenty of those 1 shot tanks running around. Don't recall any of them having invuln, but I can't say I'm suprised.
To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.
Been playing on the North American Server since closed beta up until this week when artillery finally got on my FREAKING nerves.
Yet, i've NEVER seen a single "hacker" in this game.

It's a PVP game, played on a PC via the internet.
Why on earth would it NOT have hackers and cheaters ? It's as natural as breathing...
Been playing since the day 1 in beta... Did not find any cheats... Did not see anyone using them.
It`s usually frustrated people that claim a lot of things... but the game is designed so most stuff is made server side.
That means that unless you hack the server you can`t really cheat.
But kudos to you!
Yea, the way they made their game more than 90% of the match data is streamed TO you, and their game files only translate actions on the server/game into animations on your PC.
I HIGHLY doubt the OP's post, as you CANNOT modify damage, recoile, aim, speed, hp, or viewdistance.

Nope it is the sad realization that there is a ton of immature gamers out there who would cheat you in a heartbeat.Please don't give them credit as a hacker,they are just little punks that paid money from a cheat site to download their scripts.
I know a few of these sites and to be honest,they are liable to be sued if they are causing a developer to lose money because of cheating.I have only seen one developer actually force their hand and it did work.It was Epic games in the Unreal series,they forced the one bot scripter to quit publicly selling his cheats.There is even a simpler way to sue these cheat sites and that is by informing the developer that those sites are using their trademark name and logos for profit without their consent.
I used to be a huge fan of COD until every single game was rampant with cheats,sad part is that game has made multi millions yet nobody gave two cahoots about cheating.Therefore i no longer support COD and will never buy another game in that series again.
The one cheat site is Elite ? ? ? somebody should go after them and get them shut down,they provide cheats for many games.Me i have chosen to not support any developer that is too lazy to look after their own product,i am not going out of my way to help them,they make the millions not me.

Lol I did not say I aven`t seen any 1 shots you see one shots every day its not a cheat or hack its called hitting the ammo rack which is a one hit kill.
I too have been a player since day 1 (not Alpha) tester and I have never seen a small tier tank with 6+ kills in a superior fight with 100% life especially !!! my record is 9 kills I think you can check (4orky) in a Stug111.
Thats why I asked specifically for screeny because like everyone else has stated this is server side based fps-tdm so you would have to hack server to get any cheats on plus find your account so you only get the cheats

Well, the FPS genre seems to be the most targeted by the ppl who make these exploits/hacks. I feel your pain I have bought several FPS titles only to let them collect dust now. I hate it too some of them are actually fun to play, well were...
Ive NEVER seen an cheat. I've never even encountered anything I even thought was fishy. I'm no huge fan of the game and thier $40 pay to win tanks either.
I have seen one shot tanks. Even drive one. It's the gun.
Ive been one shotted by upper tier tanks before while I was in a tire 5 due to the horrible matchmaker. Im sure hacking goes on but if it is, it's probrobly a rare occurance.

I have been one shotted a few times myself. I also have one shotted others as well.
Sometimes though, I pound away at a tank and do no damage. Sometimes you are undergunned, sometimes you are hitting them in the strongest parft of the tank.
I haven't seen a low tier tank own a match yet. They might survive to the end by avoiding battle, but I have never seen one have high kills and no damage to themselves. It's not that I don't believe the OP, just speaking from my own experience.
I like WoT as a short blow off steam type of game. The main issue I have with the game, is actually with the high-tiered tank people ( who can easily destroy other tanks), hiding out for most of the game.
If it was a corrupt admin/dev etc or one of their friends/relatives then it is highly possible what the OP said happened..it wouldnt be the first game (nor the last) for an employee to go off the deep end or have their account hacked and abused..happened in UO, Anarchy Online, WoW etc etc etc
oh and personally i think the hitbox skin saga to be overrated..i tried it for 2 matches and i actually did worse..if you play WoT for a while you will know where all the weak points on tanks are anyway without making enemy tanks look like uglyass multicolored boxes..hitbox skins are just for lazy people
Add a hitbox skin and a auto aim bot software and you have a cheat for sure. That is what I think it happening and my feeling is whenever I see a tank where the gun twiches non stop that it's very probably a software aim bot behind it.
As for invulnerability and one shot kill cheats those would be a lot harder to do given the server side code and I have yet to see a situation where I could feel with confidence that it's happening.
The only thing i see that could be hacking is the artillary has gotten alot more accurate since launch and it seems like they see you when they shouldnt be able to sometimes.
I tried the game out it was a LOL,horrible game to attract new players.My fire was so zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz slow the other tanks were zipping across the screen like lambourghinin's lol.How on earth does a tank move faster than ammo fire,not even close to being realsitic.
Also in defensive mode i was the last tank alive becuiase i was statying near cover,but soon i popped out i got hit by what seemed every single tank at the same time,like 6 shots all at once ...dead.Not once did i feel like i had a chance to hit another tank,not unless he went for a coffee but i would have been dead in seconds if i actually went into the open.
BTW i was strafing and stopping trying to be unpredictabe,doesn't matter,,2-3 seconds dead.
I quickly looked over the game and it looks to be setup a lot like Eve,illegal trading for game time sort of ordeal.I didn't care much anymore as i knew it was a game not worth playing.

Let's start with your first point.
Let's take the 8.8cm KwK 36 loaded with Pzgr. 40 (APCR), a canon you'll find on the tiger tank.
The round have a muzzle velocity of 930 meters per second(This is a relatively HIGH velocity). If you're shooting at a target that is 300 meters away (common engagement range in game), you're round will land where you're aiming after ~0,33 seconds.
If you're shooting at a tank that's driving 40 KM/H, it will have moved almost 4 meters in that time.
A Tiger 1 is 6.29m long. So, before your shot have landed, the Tiger will have moved almost 2/3s of its body length.
And this is with a relatively high velocity gun. You were saying?
... Besides, just LEAD your target and you'll hit. It's not hard, is it?
As for your point 2, you was in a bad position - And you haven't figured out how the spotting system works.
And point 3... Nope, doesn't work at all. You can only get gold from one place: Wargaming.net, the developers. You can't trade gold between players. Ergo, it's just not possible.
So, the "flaws" you was speaking about, just stems from your lack of experience with the game.
Besides, some games have a higher learning curve. Nothing wrong with that.
As for the OP... I've played around 3000 games and I've yet to see ANYTHING I'd consider suspicious. Most stuff is handled server side, so your story is highly improbable.
I've played over 4,500 games and have yet to see a hack. It's all serverside. And if you hack their server, prepare for Interpol.
There are no hacks. End of story.
I have been playing WoT since the very beginning of open beta, and I have NEVER seen a hack. I don't know about all this server-side business, but I can honestly say WoT is one of the most fair online games I have ever played (once you learn the strengths and weaknesses of the various tanks).
The OP's story sounds like 100% bullshit to me.
100% trained crew, gold ammo and name your modules - yeah, you're going to be an easy target for anyone with that setup. It doesn't mean a cheater though.
I call B.S. I've played since beta and while a lot of things have happened in the last 6000 battles that I didn't like or agree with, I've never seen any obvious hacking/hackers.
There may be many things wrong with WOT, but hacks is not one of them, that is just complete and utter bullshit.
Everything is done server side, from spotting calculations, hits, your position in the world, dmg and everything in between; the client simply renders the game the server tells it to and reports your key presses back to the server. In order to hack WOT, you would have to hack the server, and have the ability to intercept data packets from every client connected to the server during your game; anyone able to do that is going to be off breaking into banks and other financial institutions, not pissing about and wasting time hacking a f2p game.
The only hack ever to rear its head in the game was the tracer hack, changing a value in a text file caused tracers to remain visible in the air for 10 seconds, effectively pointing to the person who fired the shot, but that has since been sorted. The so called hacks shown on YouTube are nonsense that link to malware and key loggers, just waiting for a gullible cheat to click the link.
