WOW community will kill this game

As most players the basis of a good epic MMORG is the other player interaction, social skills and general day to day life with your buddies and friends.
Before i start ranting and rating about this game, let me explain the best parts of the game. PVP. in theroy this ability sounds like a good idea. in practice its a can of worms, if you dont like to be ganked by a level 60 whilst trying to gain level 12 then please look elsewhere.
This game isnt for you. Graphicly the game is far better than SWG with no lag when entering major cities except (Duel area :- Iron forge) where 80% of the population hang out.
The quests within the World of warcraft are repitive boring and completely pointless.
these range from,
1) kill 20 of these >> insert beastie <<
2) escort said npc >>
3) collect 10 of these, 4 of these 2 of these
4) Dungeons, again kill > said boss <
Mainly that is it, all the way to level 60, if you fortunate to go PVP like i did, then be prepared to be ganked daily. dont listen to other players. if they say use /4 /5 ask for help.
at most high level areas. Gold farmers exist. these players farm bucket loads of items, weapons and the like for their own benefit. (which is fair) but you will get no help fighting 10 horde of.
Lastly my main gripe is the community of unemployable ass holes that litter every server, these players (since im a recent graduate) are online during the day, every day doing the same thing.
When on instance runs, be prepared to be subjected to abusive whispers, mail and the like if you happen to WIN the good loot of the big bosses.
no other mmorg i have played have i or my friends been subjected to this kind of foul degrading abusive behaviour.

WOW in principle := 8.5
Graphics = 8.5
Sound = 8.0
Interaction = 2.0
Grouping = 0.0
Abusive Players = 10.0
In summing up, if your here to look for a new MMORG. please, try out WoW, try interacting with players, then when the first abusive whisper comes your way. 
that is the majority of players in game.

If you're in contested territory at level 11 then you're begging to be ganked, and if you're offended by people the /ignore command is there for that very reason.
Oh, and as far as your criticism of quests goes, welcome to MMORPGs. What did you expect? "Cure cancer and save the universe"?
I must admit, I'm not impressed by the community for this game. I've been hopping around guilds, none of them are any good.
Just a bunch of people on a list.
Ultima Online had such a great community, maybe my expectations are too high.
I am on Thunderhorn server btw, if anyone wants to say more about this server? I have also tried a few other servers, none are any better.

You are generalizing too much. Eventually, all quests are for the most part about either killing, finding something or escorting someone. However, its almost NEVER repetative. You dont have KILL 10 things at level 5, then kill 20 things at level 7 then kill another 10 things at level 8. No, you have to collect items dropped from some mobs, or fight your way to boss and kill him, or go into a mine and collect items that are somewhere there. Sure, that implies killing mobs, but what did you expect? solving crosswords or playing tic tac toe? I find WoW questing system THE most rewarding of all current MMORPGS, and its one of THE best features in WoW. Also, whoever said if you are 12 and are in contested area, you should be spanked and thrown back to your territory. You dont go to contested territory unless you are 18-20 or something. Even then, if you worry much about ganking, dont join PvP server. PvP server is for hardcore people or for people who like the risk of being ganked.
I personaly have 5 alliance characters on PvP (levels 47, 38 and several others 20+ 30+) and I myself got tired of ganking, so I made a char on PvE server, I made it horde so I dont repeat all my quests again. And im having a blast.
Yet another remark about abusive whispers. I personaly NEVER EVER received an abusive comment on the loot but once, and it was my fault. My group was in deadmines and we agreed to let one player loot he tunic if it drops, the problem is I missed that part and I rolled on that tunic and won. Needless to say he was pissed but it was entirely my fault. Anyway, why complain so much about abusive whispers? You can have profanity filter ON, and how hard is it to type /ignore <enternamehere> ?

I found a great guild on my server (Hyjal) called Warmungers. We have great Guild Masters who will help you out on quests and different instances if you're a lower level. Also, the chats we have in the guild are "interesting" and sometimes outright hillarious.
I purchased Guild Wars hoping for the same thing but the Guild I joined in Guild Wars (Red Dragon Syndicate) just really wanted money for a guild hall. I think I'm going to quit the guild soon because there is no in-guild chatting and not many are very freindly.
On a side note, if anoyne in GW is part of a great guild can you please invite me or let me know about it.

I'm NEVER returning to a PVE or PVP server ever again!
So I've been on a RP server for the past 6 months. I wanted to reroll another alt on another server, so I tried a PVE server thinking to myself "It might be easier since I won't have to /bow or /wave to every single person I meet anymore and I could speak in slang"
After 1 hour I left, came back to Earthen Ring and just rerolled another alt there instead!
HORRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The Elwynn Forest general chat was INFESTED by flamming, people calling one another noobs for asking a noob question. One person (most likely a mangina) in the Trade channel said they were "Selling [their] virginity. Starting bid 1 copper". The auction went up to 10 silver until a flame war started how they are going to report each other.
Okay.. so this is a newbie zone. So I went to Ironforge... SAME THING!!! Ironforge on a RP server was not as corrupted as what I've experienced. Except it's much worst!
One person says: "STFU or I'll report you!" another person replies back that they should just ignore. Then another person complains that people should not reply and always ignore... etc... etc...
Man was that server MESSED UP!!! Never again will I ever seperate myself from a RP Server! It's so much more.... mature.

If you know someone in real life who plays, it makes the game a shit load easier. My friends cousin plays, and he's level 60- pls me a lot and gives me loads of shit. My friend plays and my brother plays and we group together regularly. If you want a bigger group- you can easily expland from 3 people. It's fairly easy to find players who are lfg (looking for group) and if any guy bugs you /ignore him.
And most likely if you can't develop friends..then your the annoying one.
Yeah this game is way better if you play with friends.
I personally have about 7 friends from RL who play this and we group all the time.
Just goes to show the community is what you make of it.
Actually, it goes to show that the community is as good as who you bring to it! All your RL friends, of course.
I played WoW from release till about a month ago. I had many RL friends that played, and I made some pretty cool friends in game. And the best times I had in game were with these people. But I did find that the VAST majority were pricks. And thats partly why I left. But, I also played on a PvP server so childish moronic behavior is to be expected. I don't know why I thought there could be a even the remote possiblity of a server dedicated to PvPers with "class". But we are the vast minority and a dieing breed.
I have played many MMORPGs, most of them in fact. I don't care to list. But the worst community I ran into was the one in WoW. But maybe, and its entirely possible, that my expectations were too high.

I played wow in US close beta for 3months back then was al new and somehow it feld great bugs or gameplay faults or quests to simple or to repitive its was still in beta when released would all be better:P

Why community and i play on 2 different servers agamaggan and frostwishper sucks major both pvp servers feels like avarage 12year olds.
Roll system sucks i have feeling that i kill raid bosses or do big instance high end so others get there epics NOWAY i gonne play a game that feels gambleling or sort of casino LUCK OF THE DICE.
Never had in 7 months a epic only a few good blue items had to buy my epics but to get them i have to farm alot to have gold so i could buy epics, while i see others have in one months 5 epics to sell and when they reach 60 have there epic mound and still have more gold then me lol.
So i quit not gonne play for this crap love wow but tomany annoying things.

Do that brainless everyday for 10hours and in no time you be rank 14 and still cant pvp ive seen it rank 11 players who where very dumb skilles rambos who would lose most fights in contested areas when pvp should accur:P
In this way battle grounds sucks if peeps only intrested in there own hk no team play no buffs and when enemy got flag rank 11 warrior is almost on top of him but no brains go attack some one who is not importend and we lose this way 3-0 everytime i was fet up with BG this way 90% of players dunno shit how to play or even in party:(

I used to play on Thunerhorn (alliance) and found it to be ok, most of the randoms wern't arseholes and wasn't to hard to grab a decent group.
But I was in a guild with people that I knew from a forum for a few years so had a pretty decent guild, like Nierro said, if you know em then makes the game sooooo much easier.
And whoever said about PvE being childish then try a PvP server, theres so many annoying people on mine I just feel like logging out sometimes. Especially being a mage where I get about 50 /w a minute saying "gimme wtr and fd pls" then after I get annoyed and tel them to piss off and buy some they will no longer help you ever just because they are tight gits and always want it free.
And boy, if Alliance are supposedly all little kids then us Horde sure as hell get all the CS leets

Yeah that makes you sound really smart man. If its so easy why didnt you have epics or gold those people that have that stuff have it for a reason they had put in the time to get it. Unless you run around buying your gold your gonna have to work for your stuff *omg gasp* god forbid you gatta put in a lil bit of work huh. I found RP servers to have alot better community myself too. And Im not there for the roleplay experience.
I can say that my experiences with WoW's community aren't as bad as I originally thought they would be, thank goodness. True, there are a number of monkeys who run around on the web who find their way into WoW and f*** up the rest of our gaming experiences, but in all honesty it's no worse than your average MMO. I also play on an RP server where things are a bit more mature, especially over PvP servers and their rampant number of wannabeleets.
Personally, I think you can find more immaturity right here, in MMORPG.com's WoW forums, than in the game itself.
You can bash the community all you want cause most senior MMO players agree, it kinda sucks.
But WoW's quests even though they are what you said they are still the most diverse and fun in any MMO to date. There is a LOT of different quests in comaprison to most other that ONLY tells you to kill X amount of Y. And even though they are by standard technically complex there are still very few bugged ones.
