Browser based "Facebook" games: Do you play them?

I don't care for "Facebook" games, though have no issue with playing browser-based games assuming they are interesting and have some depth to them.

I just don't like click-fests that give out rewards for looking in the general direction of the game... I want something that has some interesting gameplay mechanics in it.

BSG, Kultan, etc are a step in the right direction, in my opinion, for browser-based gaming, but they aren't "Facebook" games :)

Facebook? I give it exactly a year, just like this newfangled "internets."

Did i mention that change scares and infuriates me?

sorry, I'm generally a private person so don't keep my "facebook" having my acctual face or name.  On that note, I also haven't logged into the account in many years.  I don't and haven't played any facebook games.  I have played flash games, but no facebook games.  Not sure how different they are.  I have played so many games I'm sure I'm not missing anything.

The game is dead not, this game is good we make it and Romania Tv give it 5 goat heads, this is good rating for game.

That may be true. However, at least that generation isn't forced into such a lack-luster realm.

You want coupons? Gotta sign up for Facebook.

You want some in-game bonus items? Gotta sign up for Facebook.

You want to enter into a MMO drawing or contest? Gotta sign up for Facebook.

    1. Get a newspaper

    2. They are "bonus" items, that doesnt mean your entitled to them. Just like a "buy one get one free" at the store.  If the ad says that if I buy relish I can get free hotdogs but I dont like relish then I dont get mad that I dont get free hot dogs.  I either use relish, or have no hotdogs (or in this example just buy hotdogs)

    3. It happens, its a modern times thing.  In a few years there will likely be something new.  Change happens.

And I dont understand the line about it being lack-luster.  If you really want that stuff bad enough just make a fake facebook and only use it for that stuff.  Facebook/Twitter have done a lot of good as well that couldnt have happened as easily without it (See: Egypt).

God I hope Spybook and Google - will go down as fast as they came. Instead of going to a games website you have to watch their stupid facecrap site and if you don't have an account you either don't have access or can't see the pictures. They can promote this crap all they want, but at least have the important informations on your own website, Jesus Christ.

Just look at (No)Fun com they want your data otherwise its harder getting a beta account, so how stupid is that?

To answer your question no I don't play browser games at all, most of them are lackluster and only meant as a cheap way to rip off the customers.

We need a MMORPG Cataclysm asap, finish the dark age of MMORPGS now!

"Everything you're bitching about is wrong. People don't have the time to invest in corpse runs, impossible zones, or long winded quests. Sometimes, they just want to pop on and play."
"Then maybe MMORPGs aren't for you."

I dont play them, with one exception. Adventure World is actually quite funny.
But it requires too much time so i'm thinking of dropping it.
