My one and only fear about SWTOR

Agricola1Agricola1 Member UncommonPosts: 4,977

Post launch I end up like this poor guy,

Anyone else have similar fears relating to SWTOR?

I'm in beta ... I have already ended up like him ...

Recently when asked a question, I responded:

    Wait! Don't I get 3 choices?

It's all fun and games until you get addictimified to mmorpgs again V_V

Seriously kind of scared that this game will be too compelling to put down. I made a habit of going to bed reasonably in time the past mmorpgless year for me and that did me a lot of good. Just hope it won't suck me up so much that I can't think of anything else anymore and real life starts to suffer (too much :P).

Can't say for later, because thats future stuff and i'm not fortune teller. But Bioware devs said (i'm paraphrasing here, i'm sure i could dig up the quote if it's really needed.)

That you will not need origins to install/patch or run the game. I'd imagine the only times you'd need to interact is to buy it from origins if you plan to buy it digitally (if you havne't already) and when you go to download the digital version from them (assuming you bought it from them)

If you buy the game from amazon or any retail store where you get a disc. Then they've said that you won't need origins at all.

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

When someone decides to make a sandbox that isn't a load of total and utter, utter, utter wank then this will be me rushing out to the shops to buy it,

until then I'm an SWTOR man all the way!

I would be thrilled to find a game that feeds my MMO addiction.

    I can just see it:

Pager goes off, someone needs GM help in WAC.

"Sorry, I'll be a few minutes.  Have to finish with this group in SW:TOR"

Yeah sounds good, I read that someone tore apart Origin's codes and found that it mines data in a broad manner, which is a no-no. One reason why I'm not even bothering with Battlefield 3 (and I'm a long time Battlefield vet).

I can hear it now...."you are racist as you think they all asians look alike".

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut when I saw that guy, the first thing I thought of was the fat guy from Kung Fu Hustle.

Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.

I fear the lack of Pandas.

    In Bioware we trust!

I don't think we'll see any pandas at the Bioware restaurant after I saw this panda at a much cheaper fast food chain that will remain anonymous being confronted with his bill,

it seems all those extra side dishes at the buffet added up!
