funnest class at level 10? most OP class?

Hello all!

I have subbed to this game before and do not really want to play past the first tier but am having fun PVPing occasionally on the trial (its probably much more populated as well) so only interested in hearing about how they play at level 10.

I am wondering what class to try next.

Definitely do not want to heal again . ... want to deal the most damage!

What do you guys think is the funnest class to play?

What about the most powerful killer class?

How is the class that can go invisible and what are they called again?

Thanks in advance

Disappointing in finding that no one responded! : (

Hrmm . .. a ranger-type class kited my orc berserker pretty easily and I died before I could reach him . .. maybe that one is the most powerful?

Which ranged attacker deals the most DPS?

Which melee deals the most DPS?

If you want to be an invincible god in T1, you roll a DoK.

Or Shaman. Can literally run into the zerg, AoE Detaunt and use a couple of emotes before skipping off to safety. I ended up rolling a second shaman for t1 they were so ridiculously fun.

Marauders are pretty fun for t1 too. They're a bit squishy against a full out zerg but make yourself a tempting target off to the sidelines so 2 or 3 come after you, line of sight them when they are on their way and proceed to wipe em when they round the corner. Damage is ridiculously high. Great for solo roaming at higher tiers too, can pretty take on any of the classes and win.

Squig herders easily top the charts in kills and damage for scenarios in t1 and 2, also annoying as hell in RvR and have loads of tools at their disposal. Unless changes have been made to physical ranged dps they aren't as good in t4 though due to the massive amount of defenses everyone has these days.

Since you are destruction i will say that the best melee is Choppa and the best ranged is Squig hedder, but Personally i like the Magus by his aoe pownage.

OP I would have said use a DoK/Shammy or a WP and slot armour talismans primarily (although the people with 1st Gen twinks with shoulders/cap will still have a distinct advantage). If you want to go dps your best bet is Witch Elf of a sorcy/bright wizard. Well actually in reality DoK, shammy or AM with armour talismans is probably better for dps as well...

As for "fun" well that's debatable. Twinking is not thaat much of an issue until you get guilds running about in groups with 1st Gen twinks (which still happens from time to time). But that combined with the sheer level of inept pvpers in there and the restriction to just one RvR lake mean that any "fun" you have is going to be short lived if you keep to the trial.

In PvE you can survive fights with Hero mobs(WP is the only class that is able to do that and live to tell the tale). You have Armor, you have damage, you have buffs/debuffs and you can heal/resurect. Is there a Single thing that you can not do? No! In T1 they are not as powerful as they could be(no Area healing/cleansing stuff) and I do not Like playing as one(feels kinda cheap and the samey). They are very powerful nonetheless

WPs, as far as I remember from back when I played, have a problem that their style of "melee infused healing" doesn't really work in practice becuase they'll get their asses handed to them in a fair fight against any actually melee-focused class. As a WP you're really meant to play it "mid position" , going back and forward depending on the situation and your healing/damage potential.

Although these things mainly show up in T2+ and onward. Before that, yeah, WP is a beast.

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

Marauder is the new WP but with much much more damage. A similar geared WP literally dies in seconds to them nowadays.
