Bioware has released seven new screenshots from Star Wars: The Old Republic. The screens were part of last week's embargo lift for press members and can all be found in our Star Wars: The Old Republic gallery.

Love this pic the most.

Anyone else get the feeling with this move they plan on keeping the NDA in place until December 20th? Thanks for the screen shots, but 1month and 23days we will have all the screen shots we can stomach.
You are not alone! STUPID NDA! I hates you! I think I can safely say that I really REALLY can't wait for early access - whenever that may be !
Hope not. But seeing how they are still implementing big stuff in the beta like Illum's strategic world pvp (according to their statements), I guess they want word of mouth to explode on a more launch-ready client rather than at this time.
My brand new bloggity blog.
They really are nice new screens. Seems graphically, though cartoony, that they are pretty top notch for the style.
Ty for the screenshots, but it makes me miss the game since playing in beta!
***Raving rabbid shows satele Shan that the Alderaan flashppoint is a mute point since it get destroyed by the death star in another 3400 years, Satele suggests vacationing on Naboo!***
All my opinions are just that..opinions. If you like my opinions..coolness.If you dont like my opinion....I really dont care.
Playing: ESO, WOT, Smite, and Marvel Heroes
The character models are all OK as stills (taking into account the cartoon styling), I'm hoping they will look a lot better when fully animated.
What is quite disappointing is the level of detail in a lot of the backgroud scenes. I realise Bioware are aiming at lower spec machines to maximise their target audience but these make WoW's scenery (another low system requirement game) look almost photorealistic in places!
IT LOOKS GREAT CANT WAIT TO PLAY
I am currently recruiting for our guild. I live in the CST zone (Texas). We have members worldwide and find it advantageous to gaming at any hour of the day or night. I would also ask you to research our guild much as I have researched and chosen to message you.
We are looking for potential members who span casual to hardcore players but prefer a clean and friendly environment. Our ranks are structured in the Star Wars Republic military fashion. We welcome any and all within the purview of Role-play, PvE, PvP, and Raiding. We are looking for players from any region and across all time zones to allow for flexible game times. We currently have 24 members (22 on the guilds HQ page) from several time zones. This will allow for teaming at any hour of the day. We have a couple active/strong allies as well.
We have a very structured organization and promote based on activity and participation. We have access to Ventrilo voice chat as well as Teamspeak 3 during gameplay to ease communications. We would prefer you installed Teamspeak 3 to listen but if you don’t have a microphone, it is fine. Our guild has been around since the launch of Star Wars Galaxies mmo and have members who participate in several games until TOR launch.
For SW:ToR we have leadership positions available for those who can dedicate the time. We are structuring to enable members to participate in either one or both factions, for those who wish to participate, so the games full content may be experienced while having friends available to adventure with.
We hope you will be interested in our guild as we prepare for launch-day activities. If you are, then please click on the "Guild HQ" link in my signature. We do ALSO require you to apply at our Official Guild site. Activity is monitored for promotion and position advancement. When applying at our Official Website, please fill in the application as accurately as possible and indicate your goals within our guild.
Probably, but since we've already had the media NDA lifted, it's not like someone else is going to release some bit of news that we'll all go "Wait, why didn't the news people write about that?"
Anyone expecting a bombshell to come out of a NDA is fooling themselves. We know just about everything there is to know about this game already, so it doesn't matter when or even if they lift a NDA.
The games are sold and "professional" reviews are done. I doubt Random Forum Guy's post of "This is what Bioware didn't want you to know" is going to make me or anyone else run out and cancel a pre-order by launch.
