Any good Asian style MMO that you dont need to spend 1k+ to win?

I really like the asian style MMOs, but it seem slike everyone requires 1000s of dollers spent to be competitive. I just came off of playing Atlantica online since I was spending way to much in that game. I dont mind spending up to 50 dollers month. IS there anything out there?

 

All the reveiwes I seen so far say stay away you must spends 1000s on the IM to win.

    were you really feeling that gimped in the game or was it based on perspective?

    a lot of cash shop complaints i see usually are from the perspective that "if i spent $200 a week on this game i wouldnt suck"

    when in truth, youd still get owned.  just because its possible to spend a grand a month on a cash shop game doesnt mean

    everyone in the game is doing it.

    That statement right there is the problem. You are showing these companies that people will spend an insane amount of money in a cash shop to be competive in a game. $50 a month to play a crappy  FTP game like Atlantica Online. Really?

    Why dont you play Aion or wait for Tera or Blade and soul?  Those you only have to spend 15 bucks a month on.  But you didnt really state what you wanted other than an Asian mmo.  Seems like you've only played F2P, yet your willing to spend more per month than on a P2P.  So your post is a bit confusing.

    I have not played heroes of might and magic online because it is not playable in the US and only playable in Asia but if I could, that was one of the games I would try. I don't know how this particular MMO is but I was a real fan of Heroes of Might and Magic series.

    Aion with a subscription sounds reasonable.

    They don't exist all asian f2ps are made so you have to spend a ton at endgame. Sad fact but its true. :(

    Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:

    A. Proven right (if something bad happens)

    or

    B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

    Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

    Nov 30 Lineage 2 launches its largest expansion ever and goes free to play. Just wait till then if you looking for a new Asian mmo.
