Thousands of epic trolls have died this day...
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Amen to that brother.
No, there is still another...............for as long as just one bored person dedicates another meaningless post to them, they will live on forever.
dont worry, i kept a lot of them
hahahaha.Legend of the galactic trolls.
Is it correct that you will have to have an active (paying) account to be able to post there? If so, there will be many a 'TY' offered to the forums gods this day.
I don't mind criticism but i would rather listen to those who are actually supporting the game. So would be nice to get back to forums once it is for paid customers only.
How many servers SWTOR will launch with on release?
ShredderSE - Umm how many do they need? Maybe 6.
US, EU, Asian, France, German and Russian.
Subs will be so low there is no need for more
Snoocky-How many servers?
The first 3 months a lot...after that 2 i guess, one for PVE and 1 for PVP...
Thorbrand - SWTOR doesn't have longevity at all. Might be one of the shortest lived MMOs.
Yup. An active account is needed to post once the forum is back up.
Lol very interesting.
I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.
I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.
P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
lol
If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.
Can't say I'm not happy about this. Like a poster above me said, I don't mind hearing critisism from a paying customer, and I can overlook the rabid fan eliteism for the most part, but people that just post hate-filled vitrol for the sake of trolling, I can do without...
More likely just a pre-order, they're not going to restrict access to people with retail codes on the 13th considering the vast majority wont get theirs until the 15th - 23rd.
Don't worry - there will be plenty of negative posts from people that buy the game and don't care for it*. Once they figure out that they don't like the game they will spend all of their time posting negative comments rather than playing the game.
I say this as that is what happened on the Rift forums.
*This is not meant to imply that most people or even a significant number will not like it. However those that don't (and normally post) will be very vocal since their opinion is the only one that matters
I am not worried. I was simply asnwering the question. Although I guess its fine with me if people want to pay monthly fee just so they can complain lol
What are we meant to do for the next 3 days ?
I cant play any other game and the epic trolling over the last few days was awesome waste of time.
Now i cant even post on the swtor forums till the first day people get early access.
What am i supposed to do now lol

I agree with what you're saying because people will buy the box and (might) end up disappointed in the game. They will then use the time they have left to vent their anger ingame or on the Forum. The anger coming from having spent 50 euro on a game they did not like in the end.
The good news is: their subs will end and they will move on while the paying customers stay behind. I'm hoping to see a decrease of trolls after the first 3 months. Then most people will know if they like the game or not. So I have high hopes for a strong and dare I say mature community.
EDIT: Edited for spelling
shame some of the posts went. was funny reading as the trolls got eaten alive by the other posters
People have had plenty of time to figure out what this game is like by dev comments, videos, beta tester feedback on multiple forums, and also a weekend open beta test. No one should be buying this game at launch that is absolutely going to hate it. If they do, then it is their own fault for not doing a little research.
I am with you. I won't miss the hate trolls on the forums over there. Most of them won't be able to scrape enough money together from Mom or Dad to be able to have to pay to troll.
All trolls play sith.
Heh.
Every update there will be screams and venom from people who feel that thier class has been nerf'd or some other class has been buffed. Tis the nature of these games. Restricting access will stop spam form gold farmers and other off-game folks, it wont do much to stop the flaming though.
Most people who play these games never visit a forums. Hell most will accuse me of making them do *homework for a game* if I ever suggest they goto the forums. Only the passionate players visit forums, and thier scorn is mighty when they get upset over the fact that *Random jedi #6 had tan robes in the lore not brown !!!11111* .....
The number one rule to remember about forums for a game that has gone live is that happy people don't visit them very often, because they are too busy actually playing the game. I don't think anyone with two brain cells to rub together pays a great deal of attention to opinions on a post launch forum.
Oh please, the Jedi Order attracts lots of tools and trolls as well.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
When i'm busy playing the game I wont be bothered about the forum so much except for info gathering, I mean c'mon do these trolls really bother you? I couldnt give a flying foxtrot what the haters write. I play what I want to play, if I dont like it I move on, no amount of verbal from me or anyone else is going to make a difference to how sombody else feels about a game. And if someone is influenced by what haters or trolls write that just shows how weak and easily influenced they are.
