I just preordered off amazon and got my early access code, was excited to load it up but apparently the site is down. Anyone know how long it will be down for?

Nothing concrete but rumour has it until the 12th, but dont qoute me, I thought it was just for today originally.
The site itself was supposed to be down till like 5 today, and the forums wont be coming up till the 12th, but iunno since the site isnt up yet, we shall just have to wait and see.

Dude, you ran out of a chance to get into early access months ago, it was on a first come first serve basis and everyone who was serious about getting into it preordered when it was first available or atleast months ago. If you preorder now, your not going to be getting into early access. At this point the only perk of preordering is preloading the game

is that true? cause if so theres some falso advertising going on on Amazons part. If it isnt available anymore then it shouldnt be advertised anymore.

You can still get early access. granted it would only be 2 days early before launch of the 20th. be careful what edition you get. all should be fine but physcial CE since they might not get it mailed to you to enjoy your 2 days early access. digital seems like the best bet.
Anyone giving a number of days for pre-ordering now is just guessing. No one knows whether everyone will get in on the first few days or spread out all over the 7. I doubt even Bioware knows until they see how their hardware copes tbh. Kinda self evident with the whole not being informed until the day you get it.
I'm to lazy to find the quote but all preorders will get some amount of early access (probably 2-3 days).

How much it yet to be seen although I would hazzard a guess at 3-5 days. Your NOT getting 7 days ordering this late thats for sure, but after the open beta stress weekend they will be aware of thier server capabilitys and will be adding people as fast as they can.
Just watch your E-mail from the 11-12th onwards, you'll get an E-mail telling you exactly when your EA starts.

This, with one exception. They aren't sending out EA invites until the 13th (first day of EA). So no one is gonna know when they get in until they can get in.
Probably a smart wording choice. Everyone hangs on every little nuiance of what these MMO companies say, so nice blanket terms like "may" work nicely for them.
Definitely good wording to keep them out of trouble. Not only could they ever guarantee the amount of early access, since anything could go wrong, but they have already said that early access will have staggered access based on when you preordered. Many people will definitely get the full early access time. Though, they did extend the early access to up 7 days, so people will likely get more time than they would have initially.
eh its w/e i guess, I just want to get it preloaded more then anything else. I hope the site comes back up soon...
Be nice if the forums were up so i could figure out how to fix this main asset error on every install. It's not fun downloading the same 11.5gb over and over with the same error.
