WC3, Spyro, Xwing vs Tie Fighter, Star Wars Battlefront also.
Final Fantasy Tactics Remade would be great too.
"Great minds talk about ideas, average minds talk about events, and small minds talk about people." - Eleanor Roosevelt "Americans used to roar like lions for liberty; now we bleat like sheep for security." -Norman Vincent Peale
Homeworld, Carmaggedon (the game, not LA Freeways), and Mechwarrior (start with I, but I can dig the sequels too).
Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.
I miss both of those games and nothing in the MMO genre looks to exoand on their success any time soon. If anything the genre is moving further and further away. *sad face*
Maybe some day.
Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst!
before i clicked on this thread i thought people were going to be talking about SNES/NES games. well i think i'd want ninja turtles: turtles in time or sunset riders remade.
Playing: GW2 Waiting on: TESO Next Flop: Planetside 2 Best MMO of all time: Asheron's Call - The first company to recreate AC will be the next greatest MMO.
Horizons grabbed me in more than other mmorpgs, but had a terrible game engine.
Needs some concentual pvp added. Loved the crafting.
Daoc really just needs a graphics overhaul, and crafting needs the progress bar replaced by you roaming the world to chop wood, dig up ore, etc...
Otherwise Daoc was pretty solid.
X-com was a brilliant turn based squad tactical game, and needs a quantum leap forward in graphics, and a 'mop up the last alien hiding in a closet' option added.
- New graphics engine to get rid of the line of sight issues, having no z-axis, targetting issues and stupid animation timing so ground combat at least becomes good and not crappy as it was
- No classes, but skillsystem a la Skyrim/preNGE SWG
- Player city/housing system as it is, but maybe with limited locations to place structures or maybe only when a cityhall is dropped
- Space similar to the way it is now. Spaceships with actual interior just rock.
- Post NGE features added like beast mastery , munitions-droid engineer improvements, the questcreate thingy (also sandboxes need content)
Anyway, a combination of post and preNGE using a modern graphics client.
CoH was my first mmo and still holds a place in my heart even with all it's inadequacies and glaring issues.
I feel the superhero/super powers genre has not been done full justice and a massively improved CoH with even better customization, powers options and open world could be amazing.
Heh , QwoP needs a remake. The back wall is not needed since your going more backwards then forward. Having some crowd in the background would be nice. Having a choice between female or male would be nice. Having more buttons for your arms would give the game more depth.
QwoP is probably the best game where "Arrows to the knee" jokes are welcomed , with some rage quit , check the youtube video QwoP rage quit. :P
Alot more interesting then playing 99% of the MMOs on here anyway. :P
Would be nice to hire Mike from Rage Quit , this guy would blast almost every MMO with passion and fashion! :P

Playing: GW2
Waiting on: TESO
Next Flop: Planetside 2
Best MMO of all time: Asheron's Call - The first company to recreate AC will be the next greatest MMO.
Problem with UO is that they did re-made it, the game had its glory with UOR, pre-AoS.
So i would vote for a re-make of the re-make, back to the old 2D Glory of UOR. And no gear stats crap that ruined the awesome PvP in UO.
Good ol times when you saw naked dudes on ethy llamas with just a reg bag and spelltome in inventory :P
Without a doubt FFVII. it just has to be done.
mmorpg?---------Horizons or Dark Age of Camelot
single player?---X-Com

X-Com. The graphics may be outdated, but there is no finer turn based squad tactical combat game. In my opinion.

Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series
TES 1,2,3
Tenchu
Chaos Gate
Counterstrike 1.6
Combat Mission Beyond Overlord
Sam & Max Hit the Road

If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.
Mechwarrior 2 or Interstate 76.
