Does anyone else have an issue with how skills fire off?
I find swtor controlls to be unresponsive, from i click my skills and until the server notice i hit a key seems to have a delay and sometimes they choose not to fire my skills off at all.
I noticed i spam my keys all the way until its fired to make sure i get my skills off, this offcourse create another problem on channel skills that suddenly restart midway so ur skills take forever to get off.
Do others have this issue or is it just me?

dang, i have had that issue since i started on the 21 so it might be a problem with my computer
I've got some issues too. Normal skills activate properly but I have to activate instant skills that are off gcd usually at least twice. Also, I notice that I spend much more than gcd times number of instant skills used to cast those instant skills, even when using the skill que function which should ensure that next ability is launched immediately when available.
There's something wrong with their system compared to how smoothly WoW's skills launch when you need them to. But it might be because I have fps problems caused by something unknown, if the client taking commands is tied to my fps staying good.
You can set skill queue delay in your preferences.. default is set to a .5 skill queue, which could cause the responsiveness issue you speak about.
Still, often times, I do hit some keys multile times... usually due to a lot of skills not allowing for cancelling on my smuggler, so I have to wait completely for a skill to complete before the other one goes off.. which is what the queue is supposed to help with... but as the combat moves fast as it is... its easier to put the queue down to 0,0
Yes there is the occassional skill lag or something - sometimes I stop moving and press a skill but I need to press it again for it to fire off.
Also yes, some instant spells just dont, usually when they are the first skill after some non-activity.
Rare but all the more annoying for that. Happens on PvE and PvP.
Quite a lot of people are actually affected by this, sometimes I my self often end up having the GCD fire off 4-5 times before my skills will start responding again, and well that will usually get me killed.

Shouldt the skill que work opposite? that when you have 0.5 que it will remove the skill from the que if it does not manage to fire of that skill in time? i tryd to put the delay to 1,5 to make sure it could register the skills but it had little effect

Only issue I have is a known bug with the Trooper mortar volley. I start the channel and the first strike doesn't happen until a half second or more after, and the last strike of the volley tends to happen after the channel is finished. So, if I move when the channel bar ends, thinking the ability is finished, I end up clipping the channel. The Bounty Hunter's Death From Above doesn't have this problem, despite being the same skill. Kind of annoying.
I never had this problem. Maybe its your latency or lag spike?
