Yep, he's a dead as Julius Caesar.  And yep, I don't see how this remains non-political as frodus alluded to.  Just as the Christopher Hitchens thread would probably have become locked had anyone posted any responses.

Aren't you thinking of South Korea?  Citizens of the North aren't even allowed to have an internet connection that can access foreign content.

And those are just the ones that are fortunate enough to have electricity.

I think he's making a joke, but I could be wrong.

I wonder if there will be any "Occupy North Korea" gatherings there now? I would like to see how his Son handles that

Hmm, could be.  I was too engaged in laughing at the visage of Kim Jong Dahbeetus' fat piece of crap son to notice at first, but now I think I see it.

I won't care until i know what happens next. Really what's the point in caring if we don't even know if the next one will be worse or better. Time Will Tell.

I think you are confusing the word "enjoyment" with the word "money."

What!?!  This thread hasn't been locked yet?  Come on people, you just aren't trying hard enough.  Here, maybe this will help.  Check out this video of North Koreans crying over the death of Jong Il.  So sad that people are morning for a guy who didn't care a wit for them.

Isn't fake crying for state television great?  Plus they have the added incentive of those soldiers in green winter wear scattered throughout the crowd with concealed submachine guns, who have orders to shoot people in the face if they stop.  Some of these nations need to grow a pair, it's like the civilians don't even want to be respected.

Huh, what do you know, the game Homefront starts off with Kim's death happening sometime in 2012. They were off by just a little bit.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

To the other poster who asked Asians live longer than Kim did..the biggest reason he died so soon was the fact he embraced the west life style..you know booze, cigars, porn, bad foods.Hell he feed his dog so good the surfs was stealing the dog foods,of course he go locked them up in the workers camps for years for doing SO.http://news.yahoo.com/lifestyle-dear-leader-163639080.html

Lets hope the North Koreans wake up and find someone other than his son to replace him.

I watched the funeral laughing most of the way through.

The fake cries of the North Koreans were hysterical.

I am pretty sure North Korea has a "very proactive" stance on its citizens that did not show grief when the motorcade went by
