I've been working very hard on something big lately, i bet you Will like this one... Not the thing you would expect...

Hmm.. I could have SWORN that SV just last month promised that all their resources were dedicated to UI, AI and finishing magic schools. I'm sure that was true, so perhaps he means he was working on something else.. maybe something like a change in revenue model (AKA F2P) to go along with opening up the game to the Asian market. After all, SV has announced not one, but two partnerships for Asian distribution last year and in general they don't usually go for the subscription model. Also, he is going to have to come up with some sort of selling point to give the investors at the "Extraordinary Meeting" on the 13th where he will try to raise more cash by dilluting shares.
Of course, this could also just be just another in the long line of teases where he dangles another carrot in front of the fans to distract from the fact he failed to deliver his last one. This does seem to be his pattern.
I don't know... what do you guys think this "big" project that everyone will like is going to be?

Just to be clear here. Is the "whole team" working on AI? Because in the other thread you mentioned the User Interface as being worked on. Is the team actually not all working on AI but only some on AI and some on UI? Remember, in the past we were told that the AI was complete but that it was just waiting for Navmesh which was included as part of an Epic patch. Now it sounds as you you are starting over with what may or may not be "the whole team"....
If they have all moved over to the AI. Can you give an estimated date for implementing the UO inventory system which has been promised since launch?
yes - that's not a problem I will add that to the list and ask later. Of course it is still a small team so a few things at a time but not everything..

So that was just one month right from the GM who stated he was authorized to speak for SV and Henrik. So we know that the whole team was focused on AI and/or UI. So as far as I can tell, anything "BIG" would have to either have been developed in a few days, only be in the conceptual stage, or not be programming related (thus a change in revenue model).
What is the community's take?

People are already extremely bored with TC so Henrik is trying to string them along. Aphilas leader of FEAR and the focus group does not even log in or go in the alliance TS anymore. Others who subbed back up for the patch are already unsubbing. When is SV going to learn these "quickly" implemented "features" can not keep people's attention long.
They need to stop wasting resources on the "carrot" of the month patches and work on the core and sandbox tools.
I think the real news is his twitter feed has been open for a month and last time I checked he has only 216 followers. lol
And a "BIG" failure it is most of the time.
Any connection to the MO website appearing to be down?? Hmmm.

AI has been the main focus since TC was wrapped as complete.
GUI is very far advanced and looking great,

Considering all the previous hype coming from Henrick and empty promises, I would not write Hercules remark off that easily.
Theia ( and I call you Theia because here you are no GM) He can call Henrik whatever he wants. This is not the MOFO, you have no control over what he says.
Henrik has over promised and fibbed many times. I am sure Herc is going by Henrik's track record.
Theia:
1. Please go back to the HOC chatlogs... make a list of the comments that Henrik said that have proven to be untrue. How would you define such a person? There are just two that fit from what I can tell. Either the person was untruthful (and thus a liar) or incompetent. Well, I guess the third option is both. If you have another explanation I would be happy to hear it. Afterall, we aren't talking about isolated instances but rather a pattern that has existed for years.
2. If the whole team is focused on AI and UI as you recently told us. How can there be something new Henrik is working on unless it is not in-game related? For there to be something coming besides the AI and UI would mean that your prior statement (linked above) was... untrue.

Henrik is a liar. You are a liar. The new GUI doesn't exist, has never partially existed and will never exist, and SV has been swinging their balls since TC*. Also, the twitter announcement sounds like it was written while Henrik was on the toilet thinking about selling the remaining 34 fanboys his biggest turd.
Something big is coming HMMMMPPPPH I'm squeezing it out right now. Happy now? What kind of loser makes an announcement of an announcement? Oh yea, Henrik, several times since I've been watching this fail-fest. He can't even make up a lie about anything specific anymore, he just says something's coming, lol.

For the love of my eyes, can you all stop with colors(yes, including you, Theia, you are not special) and just use normal, white font? We can notice you are supposed to represent SV by your signature, no need trying to get additional attention.
