I just wanted to say, everyone looking forward to this game or anything like it, I absolutely love it from what ive played in closed beta. Its been so great!! no game has made it so i quit because its late and i actually need sleep, and then 5 mins later i catch myself logging back into the game... aha i love the game, and the main reason i was so hesitant to try it was the combat system, which now i love. just felt like sharing this because i know many people are out there looking for a good game, and well if SWTOR wont do the trick maybe this game will when it comes out. For me its amazing!

I really like the artstyle. I love the unique french anime look so much, I actually started watching season 1 of the Wakfu anime series.
I just have one problem with the game. What the hell am I supposed to do? After choosing my citizenship, I don't know what to do next. There are no quests or guides. I'm not even sure where I'm supposed to go.
I'm enjoying Wakfu and Eden Eternal atm. Not a big fan of the graphics, I actually don't like it all. But it doesn't matter much in the end, its unique enough to hold my attention. Been trying probably close to 20 free to play mmorpgs before I landed on these two gems. Well at least they look very promising after a week of play.
Eden Eternal to keep my standard mmorpg need in check, and Wakfu, for something completely different, I love turn based games.
This.
I have made several different characters now, got to about level 8 and then was at a loss of what real direction to go? I am enjoying the game, it is fun, I love the combat style, but I just don't know what to do either!

From what I remember it's just sandbox grind style after you become a citizen. Meaning the game stops holding your hand after a certain point. It may begin holding your hand again at some point. The game has other things to do. Like the political system, the ecological system, and I forget what else.
I've been testing for a couple days now and I love this apsect of the game! No hand-holding, no kid gloves. Once you get the basics, the game sets you free to go off and explore.
The "quests" are still there, you just need to look for them. They don't have any golden exclamation marks over their heads or arrows pointing towards them. I picked up a couple just by looting a corpse and finding items that pointed the way to other areas.
I haven't found a game to be this intriguing in a very long while. Been waiting (not so) patiently for a sandbox to get lost in.. well, I've only been here a few days but it seems like this game has some potential.
Art style definitely turned me off at first; made it look like child's play. But I have been proven wrong. Hoping for good things.
