Tedious game.

Pretty much what the title says.  I picked up Xyson because I wanted to try out something new.  After trying out SWOTOR and proving my theory of it simply being a reskinned WoW with a space theme I wanted to try something entirely new.  Xsyon is an okay game, but by the gods is it tedious and boring.  I love games like Terraria, Minecraft.  I like the aspect of working together to build up a civlization.  But this takes it to a new extreme.  After you're actually done building, or being the worker bee for an already estalished tribe what else is there?  The simple answer is:  Nothing.

I like to complain about games.

    I haven't played Xsyon in a long time, but that is how I felt when I stopped. The game world is amazing, the concepts are great, but like most of the indie mmos out there it hasn't delivered on all it promises.

    Hm, I still love playing the game. Did you ever explore the outskirts and hutn mutants? What about crafting, what professions did you persue? Alot of people latch onto architecture but its only a small slice of what you can do. If you homestead it is much rougher than working as a team or a conglomorate of homesteaders helping each other out. How long have you played total?

    Pretty much this. Not even bitter about the box price. They could use the $.

    I would have to disagree. I would say Architecture is the main focus of this game and the largest slice by far. They did a great job on it.

     

    Killing anything in this game is boring and lack luster. Have I done all those things? Yes many many many many many many times.

    Building up your area is really the claim to fame this game has, its great. The terraforming options and building options. But please try not to sell it as it has much more than that. Because those functions in Xsyon are really not even close to being ready for people to have fun doing.
