What I guess is technically a 'bug' has exploded into a full blown exploit.
Though the warzones are supposed to be capped at 8 per side... the bug will allow sides to queue up to 12 - it has been an issue since beta... but now the knowledge of how to make it happen appears to be common - as, at least on my server - it's about 50% of the time now that one side or the other is using the bug to increase their odds a lot.
Not sure why Bioware won't fix or address the issue... but it is out of control.

The issue was already covered... twice. Recently.

I brought up stuff. Was told to prove it. Proved a couple of the items/bugs/exploits and did not others and was told that it was me. "It didn't exist because other people never experienced it."
Not wasting my breath but this thread will be ful of people saying "Oh no it isn't you lie! This game is AWESOME!" or "We demand proof" EVEN THOUGH PROOF IS A VIOLATION OF THE ToC for this site. (see Amana's comments in one of the linked threads)
OP says it's rampant, and happend 50% of the time and has been around since BETA. Seems to me I would have seen it once or twice. Never said the game was perfect, but thanks for trying to put words in my mouth.

I've personally played about 5 or 6 games where this has happened to my team. Its almost impossible to tell how many times I've been facing teams with more players as no one is going around counting enemy players on the map. I however didn't realize that people had been able to reproduce this to their advantage, but seeing as how game has been out for over a month and bioware hasn't even figured out how to fix players not receiving credit for warzone wins I doubt they will fix this any time soon.
Strange that I never see it, guess i'm one of the lucky ones.

While it doesn't happen 50% of the time, it does happen rarely and especially in voidstar. I don't see it as an exploit because people can not make this happen, but a bug because it is on the server side. It is NOT cheating but a bug. Get over it
Don't take this so personally. I wasn't talking about you.
I'm still filled with the bile of being called a liar when pointing out an issue. When I posted links and screenshots was told that the problem isn't rampant. It's ENOUGH that it's become SO well known. Now people are actively EXPLOITING it. That's wrong.
My issue is... if Bioware KNOWS about it, Bioware should be doing something about it. Stop it. Isn't it enough to have all those PvP-exploiters running around causing more imbalance? Bugs happen. Bugs that don't get fixed... that's something entirely different.
P.S. And those who state that it's random. It's not. There is a very specific group set up that and duplicate this issue... consistently. Enough so that guilds are doing it to farm. It was clearly posted in the other thread but was modded because it's considered "instructions" on how exploit the game.
I have had this happen a few times off and on and invariably the same thing happens: we get "the countdown message", the one that says the warzone will shut down if more people don't join. I'd say out of the literally hundreds of warzones I've played on different toons, this has happened maybe 10 times. You always get a victory when the warzone shuts down and credit for whatever medals you have earned up to that point. You never get credit (or at least I never have) for a "win" as far as the daily goes--although given the bug on that issue, you often don't get credit for legitimate wins anyway. Not sure how this is "exploiting" though. Anyway, it has happened to me.

Understood, No worries, I guess I was a bit defensive and too quick to jump on you. :-) Well, hopefully the issued gets handled SOON.

This is awesome.
Did you use the same calculator others used for retention rates, faction ratios, and server population numbers?
Mysterious and magical numbers abound apparently amongst mmo gamers. It's like they have one for every occasion. Well, I mean, at least 75% of the time they appear to anyways.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
Anyone that pvps with a full group can do this exploit..... If they know how
Last week I entered a Hutt Ball as solo player and noticed an extra player on our side, only because he stuck out like a sore thumb at the side of the usual 2 sets of unit frames. I thought nothing of it at the time because I wasn't aware of the 8 man cap.
It makes me wonder how often this happens though because I have thought in the past that we must be outnumbered. I never even thought to count though thinking nah, that's a crazy notion.
