Newbie looking for newbies !

Hello,

I'm pretty new to mmorpg's. I've tried some of them in the last few months (only F2P) and i liked none of them.

It was always the same - no characters in the same level as me. No one wants to play with a newbie.

DDO looks amazing to me, but i don't want to gather the same experience as in the last months.

Could someone tell me pls, is DDO the same ? Are here more newbies like me or not ?

Thanks.

I'm a nooob to mate. Well played Wow for about 7 months but looking for other eople wanting to play an MMO. DDO is very P2W by the way and progression is slow

Hi, European newbie here (GMT+1 time), starting fresh on Ghallanda server!

Maybe I'll start another character on Thelanis or Cannith.

I never found DDO P2W. Sure the best is available to people who pay, but its not like DDO has any imbalance caused by the cash shop. Without PvP P2W really is not an issue. If you want access to everything you P2P not P2W.

As for progression being slow, DDo is only slow if you go slow. It can be quite fast and easy to level up in DDO.

I think you will find a good mix of both noobs and vets. Just let people know you are new and most people seem to be pretty helpful. Community is not perfect but much better than A LOT of other games I've played.

As for someone else's comment on DDO being P2W I'd have to disagree.  It is in as much as if you want to hit level cap you are probably going to want to spend some money on some quest packs or actually subrcribe to gain more game content to keep yourself from grinding to death.
