Is there any statement of the developers, when the Beta Test will start?

    I wish I had good news for you on this, but my scanning of various sites frequented by devs didn't turn up any info on projected beta dates.

    i was excepted in to beta about 2 years ago havnt heard any thing since image

    I hope they don't charge to test as the link suggests they might do.  I have been a closed beta tester for several games and take the responsibility very seriously by making suggestions for improvement, reporting bugs and participating in the forums.  This takes a significant amount of time but I've always felt it was a fair exchange for the privlege ofplaying the game.  But I have to ask myself that if I have to pay to test will I feel as obligated to provide feedback?  I suspect not.
