Kickstart Ant-based MMO? (SimAnt, but MMO?)

This sounds like it would be awesome, if it made it. :D Ants are amazing, even if I am 23...they are my favorite thing on Earth. I keep lots of ant farms with queen(s). There is quite a large group of adults that raise ants...especially in Germany and Europe.

This could be rather awesome. Plus, it would be pretty unique and innovative...how many ant-based games are there? Sim ant, the best one and the only good one, and that is ancient...back in the SNES days. Empire of the ants, but that was a huge fail. Then a few kiddy ant games for really little kids. But I know everyone wants an innovative MMO...well, this could be it.

    Ant colonies are great fun for AI experiments and it does match my often-stated desire to see more simulation going on, but what's the actual gameplay once you cut past the setting/concept. I am feeling a little once-bitten-twice-shy about scientists shilling for games after the Spore hype catastrophe.

    SimAnt, ah! Those were the days. I'm happy Maxis is making another SimCity (though we'll see how well it is compared to SimCity 3000 (the best, in my opinion) and SimCity 4), but SimAnt was a classic.

    Yellow Ant: "I'm yellow. You should listen to me."

    Fellow Black Ants: "YES MA'AM!"

    Spider: "OM NOM I love ants!"

    Ant Lion: "OM NOM I love ants, but I'm too much of a fatass to move!"

    Green Pellets: "Help! Help! We're being eaten!"

    Then, of course, you could invade the home. Good times.

    Anyways, an ant-based MMO would certainly be an interesting experiment (aren't people around here sick of fantasy yet? :P). I hope it works out.

    Anti-MMO? No, I don't think so. Kickstarter is a relatively new (and awesome) concept. I hope that someone or some company uses this tool to develop an indie MMO. That would be fantastic.

    No, I actually meant ANT based MMO...not Anti MMO. Ant as in insect. So it would be an insect based MMO. I don't know how it would work, but the idea is nice.

    I loved playing Sim Ant back in the day. I have been hoping for quite some time that someone would make a new Ant Sim game.
