Pay to win has started

So i get an email this morning.. If i dont cough up an extra £15 im at a disatvantage from the start.

Is this typical how the game will progress, another LOTRO trying to sell extra stuff at every opportunity ?

I second this elaborate post, and also:

Probably he got the DE version and they offered him to upgrade to deluxe edition. Just ordinary business. Another dama queen imo. Forums are full of them today.

None of those extras will give you an advantage over any other player.

Mini-pet is cosmetic. Glory boost is a minimal, one-timer. Golem Banker is temporary. Elite Skill is weaker than other Elites. The influence boost is a minimal, one-timer

Actually no, it s no different then most upgrades to a standard copy, useless items that go obsolete in 10 levels. Lol, is all I can really say to this.

More like "welcome to real life" where people who pay a little extra should get a little extra.

Just about everything long lasting in the Deluxe edition was offered in the Standard.

Most of the kit offered are temp items that will be purchasable from the store at a future anyway, highly likely this includes the Elite Skill wolf too.

The Deluxe Edition looks like it's special bundle package, roughly tacking on an additional $20 to the box, which ultimately had a net work of probably $25 to $30 off the NCSoft store.

I also imagine the Wolf Elite skill can be bought later for roughly $6.99 or $9.99, based purely on assumption and NCSoft Store price trends.

.... Really .... 1 is the normal edition and the other is the deluxe edition that only gives one use items.

How is possible to buy the game and dont even know whats the editions are? You never checked the site, the millions of posts or you never bought the game?
