Bored, need MUD/MMORPG/RPG

I'm kind of looking for a game like Ultima Online that's probably a free. It can be a MUD, but I just wanna be able to play a passive role like lumberjacking and carpenting the wood I find... I'm just so amazingly bored.. even if it's offline. I know Arx Fatalis is good but... And I've got a really health system. I'm looking forward to Horizons but I want something for my boredness now... it doesn't have to be free if it is though... u.u

    #1 it's illegal

    #2 it's probably hard as hell to locate. -_- And there's the skill cap.... It'd just be nice to not have one like Horizons will have.

    divine divinity is great then, singleplayer but still great. arx fatalis is good. lol, runescape has smithing/woodworking etc.

    Runescape = too slow, bad graphics. Divine Divinity = never tried... the name and concept reminds me of Avalon... which was slow as f00k. Arx Fatalis = Waiting til the price goes down.

    Try runescape. It's at www.runescape.com. The graphics suck but u can get many skills, like cooking, woodcutting magic fighting and many more. Look me up Screen name : Torrel

    Free UO shards aren't illegal.  They GIVE you the software to make your own. . .

    I'm not sure where,  but when UO was in its prime about 5 years ago,  they where everywhere...

    I dunno.. playing on a player-made server seems kinda... like you're a hacker... -_- I'd like to try Shadowbane but my CC ish dead. Anyone got a spare account or something?
