I saw this on the guild website so I thought why not share this with everyone.

Looks like its a Server grade PSU, it can tank that system no problem.

Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.

8 fans, a cooler plus the card on 46Amps on the 12Vline?

Sounds a bit high to me. Maybe Im paranoid. I like my lines under the 50% line.

Nice System, but looks does not make it the BEST GW2 rig.

My BF and I just built an i5 2500k (OC) system. The looks, cooling system, valves ect are not really needed to run GW2 at max.

    Still a nice system thou.

I guess we each have our own "Best". :)

Edit: First time SSD user. Why have I never tried them before? lol

Fans only use a couple of watts or so each, so that doesn't add up to much.  He'll probably never pull 400 W from the power supply, even with his processor overclock.  A good quality 600 W power supply is plenty for that.

And it's even got a KVM switch.  I'm curious what he uses that for.

What I meant by my statement is not about the stats of the PC but the Looks. =)

Looks don't accomplish that much if the specs aren't nice.  But the specs are pretty nice.

I hope the motherboard is a GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3, as I wouldn't go for 4.5 GHz on Gigabyte's lower end Micro ATX Z68 motherboards.  Actually, I wouldn't go for 4.5 GHz on any motherboard, but if I were going for 4.5 GHz, I'd get a motherboard that I was certain could handle that sort of overclock.

I recently bought a Gigabyte (well last year feb) and I never went with them since I am a fan of Asus/MSI/EVGA and before that LanParty, but to my surprise Gigabyte have done great. I have the GA-X58A-UD3R and running a Intel 990x, I just took out my corsair watercooling to replace it with Koolance ket for GTX 580 + CPU, on the corsair watercooling I pushed around 4.6 GHZ easily, now on stock cooling I am sitting at around 3.9 GHZ which is pretty reasonable and very stable.

So all in all they are doing something good, but I will not be using GB for my LGA 2011 build, it will Asus for that one.

(I'm in a Queue with EVGA to get my 580 Stepped up to a 680)...Long line. ;)

just completed my build. I7 2700k , corsai H80 water cooling, 16 gigs corsair vengance ram 1600 mgz, antec 1200 case, Gigabyte p67x-UD3 mobo, EVGA Geforce 680 gtx , OCZ Vertex 3 120 gig SSD

I requested a quote for the rig shown: $2,995 was the quote. I love the design, but I know I could build a higher-end rig and just settle for the Antec case with the GW2 logo.

    The cube rocks, nonetheless.
