Looking for 'THAT' MMO!

Well, here goes nothing :XD

-primarily pve focused BUT OPTIONAL pvp is a plus in my book.

-preferably casual friendly.

-at least some basic sort of over-arching storyline with at-least a few ''storyline quests'' across the levels.

-It needs to have been released, no beta stuff please;p

-if possible; a large(ish) gameworld that is varied. (not just forests all the time, but forests, deserts, arctic landscapes etc).

-Good looking combat animations! (this part is rather important to me, I mean, for example; I generally love everquest 2, but cant stand the animations during combat, EXCEPT the mounted combat animations, they are not that uber, but at least i know there is a reason for it).

-Good looking armor/clothes. I mean; armor shouldnt be JUST TEXTURES with a different color scheme applied to your characters skin, but at least should somehow look like a god-dang armor! :D No ''plate armor-tights'' please.

-Varied races and character classes IF possible. (Human warrior says me meh).

-Preferably NOT so called ''F2P'', BUT its acceptable if the game is really worth it.

-IF f2p, than preferably not a GAMBLING sort of f2p where u have to gamble for all the ''cool'' or necessary stuff. (I admit, this is very objective, so just give it ur best shot :D ).

-Cool mounts, player housing, mounted combat etc are NOT a must-have, but they are all noticable perks that i appriciate.

AS YOU CAN SEE, NONE of the things that i mentioned above are so REVOLUTIONARY, or exceptional as far as i can tell.

BUT the challange is; finding a game that  has all that in one package! Heheh...... good luck! :D

AND, thx in advance in-case you can come up with any recommendations.

Ok, you can try Bounty Hounds Online. Its an Open Beta in Europe, but the good point is, that you neednt pay for anything (and you dont need the things from the cash-shop, too). It's a Sci-Fi-MMoRPG, as you wish most content is PvE atm, we have problems to get enough players for the pvp-content atm. Thats the worst point of this game, it has a very small community. It's better than many released f2p-games, but the publisher doesnt want to release it, yet.

    Ok, back to your points:

    - You have a feature in this game, which is working like a bot. I think, this is a big advantage for players, who dont have so much time.

    - It has a story-line, which explains the history of the planet and the circumstances and has a very interesting ending (you have some chapters, so i guess, there will be more chapters in the future).

    - how i said, its a beta, but its much better then many released games, i know.

    - large world? I would say, not yet, but its very varied. And the graphics are quite good, the first areas are a bit strange because everything is in quarters, but the later areas are very well designed.

    - I like the skins, but my biggest problem is, that you cant yet use skins of questequip for your mainequip...

    - 5 different classes. Every class has two skilltrees with different specializations and you can miy them, too.

    - it's f2p but the cash-shop has no influence. You can play this game without problems as a p2p-game without costs.

    - Cool mounts. Hm, we have boards to fly on and jetpacks, but for the cool things, you have to pay a bit (not much, i guess^^). There is no housing (what a pity -.-) and no mounted combat.

I would say, you should simply try it, it has a different atmosphere as many other games (a big reason for that is of course, thats a sci-fi-game). If you should try it, look, if "Niffi" is online there, i can help you, if you want.^^

I can't really think of a game that fits those perfectly, but off the top of my head Guild Wars, DDO, and LOTRO all fit most of those and are all fairly highly rated

    Rift or WoW,or Lotro.

They dont have housing but you can have a farm soon in WoW or something like that.
