  Well, i heard a lot of stuff like that from many ppl and you can see many bad critiques for all games who doesnt know how to criticize. I have played counter-strike for 6 years and after i began playing mmorpg then i have seen RYL has the best and fast pvp action. If you like gameplay and if its fun for you then dont care about these critiques. First see what type of ppl criticize this game, here we begin..

  1-"If you plan on being a warrior, use them for strength, a Cleric, intelligence, and so on."

  Cleric with INT? Wow, perfect cleric, he can also use fire and lighting from sorcerers skills, lol  Cleric needs WIS for skills and also for get a good weapon, Cleric needs CON for get better armors in this game...

  2-"You spend hours and hours grinding your way through the levels and better enjoy killing things over and over. "

  Well, if you play RYL, you need to party with 9 ppl, oh you cant find 9 ppl? Everyone needs party in this game if he wants to lvl faster so you can easily and it works a lot if you party ( you can get 3X or 4X more xp ), so if you dont want to make new friends, if you dont know how to search for party, if you dont know how to talk ppl, if you dont know the game you play its easy to think like that guy but you can learn all these in a day whenever you want....

  3-"then again, hacking and slashing over and over probably doesn’t involve hundreds of sound files"

  This is not a hack and slash skill game, of course you need to go warrior skills for party if you are a warrior till you are enough lvl to change your char to pvp char then if i dont remember wrong, there are around 12-13 skills for every race which can be used by every char(of course not all of them but its better then having over 50 skills and getting only 8)

  4-"Don’t get sucked into the fact that there is a $1 million dollar tournament going on for the person who gets the most “fame” points (you know, from killing stuff over and over) between now and April ’06. It doesn’t make the game any more exciting. I’m guessing it goes to the guy who figures the easiest way to hack the game without getting caught"

  This is a lot hard, there is no company who would just sit there and watch players hacking, of course PWG is trying to stop this as much as they can even some ppl cheat or try to cheat, i think that tournament was a mistake for PWG and i wrote about this on a topic but anyway...

  5-" Being an avid World of Warcraft player, I can say that my money was much better spent on that"

  Exactly, a WoW fan who cant see other games as a game, nothing to say... Well, RYL may have many bad parts, im not here defending this game as that is the best game all others is nothing but every game has bad parts but i like this game a lot bec of perfect pvp and with new expansion pack that is called RYL:Battle Lohan(which is just pvp), this game will be a lot better and ppl will be able to see what RYL is and is there any game that is perfect for everyone? nope. As an additional info, if you think to criticize a game first play this game till you learn it enough then criticize it in a way that everyone would read and enjoy reading even you criticize it in a bad way and put some avaliable reasons to criticize...
