Ok so lets get started i like the concept of MMOs i like to play MMOs etc
The problem i have is anytime i buy a new mmorpg i go throw the game alone and bored out of my mind .
I know its like well why not just talk to people ingame i do but knowone seems to care
I play with random people then go offline come back a day later and there a higher level and want nothing to do with me
due to being in different content regions and etc.
I tried wow in 07 played the entire burning crusade pretty much by my self
bought RIFT day 1 got bored becosue was by my self
waiting for guildwars 2 pretty much for no reason
going back to wow i tried it again last year and all i did was use dungion finder becosue everything else was boring due to lack of a group or whatever.
mentioned Rift to show that it wasn't just because i started in an already established mmo where everyone had already leved up like wow so rift gave me the same experience even though i had started at launch
I also use heavy pop zones so thats not that peoblem
I bought Swtor jan 2012 have had the same experence this was the worst due to it being sort of a single player story type mmo.
Now im thinking fo getting TERA like right now most leily an hour after this post
don't know if ill have the same experence most likley
The reason i always get MMOs is becosue i have lost major interest in single player games becosue there is no
Meaningful progression example i played skyrim for 40 so hours the whole time i was bored out of my mind becosue i was doing evrything fo no reason.
I pretty much made this post just to ask should i even get TERA knowing i have experenced this though every mmo's i have played.

Find a group of people to play with. I always look for guilds/clans with a voice chat of some kind (ventrilo, teamspeak, etc). Once you have that your other issues should work themselves out.
I play SWTOR with a good friend of mine and he has multiple characters and would only play his Trooper when I was online to play. So, we were always leveling together. If you can't do this, I think it'll be difficult to always stay pace but not everyone is a hardcore gamer and you just have to find more casual gamers who don't play all the time. Don't give up though.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your tapped out. What your looking for in an MMO takes a while to "earn". You have to stumble upon and or make a group of friends in-game or IRL that you can play with to have "fun". THEN you have to hunt down content in the game that you all enjoy together, ontop of that you must all be max level or attempt to level simultaneously.
Best advice is to save your money in this rough economic time and exercise patience. Keep an eye out for something that glares at you instead of MMO hopping.
Alternatively you could start D&D tabletop gaming like I did, but you run the risk of getting into sticky real life social issues lol.
Good luck, I'll be interested to hear what you ended up settling with.
Well acording to your profile your 20yrs old, so don't you have any rl friends that play MMO's? My other thought is maybe your to much of a loner and don't really try to get on with people. Now like me other people are going to respond in a similar way and make assumptions about what sort of person you are, none of us know you, its your first post so no other posts to get feedback as to how you think.
From the OP I get a feeling that you need to find another hobby that may have some interest to you. Shore fishing is my other interest as is gardening and I like to take a walk along the coast because I find the sea relaxing and clears my head and helps me think. Maybe something like that may help you, what about getting involved in some community activity or take up a sport like 5 aside, tennis or sqaush, If sport doesnt appeal to you then there are plenty of activities that you can get involved in.
If your having problems interacting with other people which I have a feeling you do have, then how about joining a general gaming guild that uses a communication tool like Vent or Mumble, rather than a guild that just focuses on a single game. Talk to these people , introduce yourself and speak about your fears, don't believe you are the only person that doesnt have confidence in yourself, there are plenty of them out there.
If you are generally bored with games as you say you are then move away from them and find something else to do. You might surprise yourself and find something you really enjoy.
Join a guild not one of the specialised raiding guilds. But one of the larger more social guilds. You whould be able to find other people then who are either in a similat boat as yourself time wise. Or at the very least be part of a social group with whom you can talk and joke with.
You are also more likely to get a group from within a guild for advanturing.
Give Aion EU a try is free to play now, no pressure to make up your mind.
It' really is large and is rich with good grapical PVPVE content, far more complex than Rift.
