It's on the the box cover just like it was sitting next to biowares logo. Cant wait till the bashing starts so i can laugh at all the tards like i did when the shoe was on the other foot.
Give it a little time its gonna happen.

EA has left it's poop stamp on this one as well to destine it to fail.
I'm guessing the only "tard" to use your word, would be you since you don't know why it's there AND you just realized it. /sigh
EA is the co-publisher.
Yeah i get that just suprised its not been brought up before. Every single time EA puts that tag on something someone has to rage about it and talk about how horrible the company is and how said new game will fail.
Wait for a bit, the rage will come. EA is known to have strict deadlines. These things come out once games go live.
I'm kinda shocked at eas involvement, I can see tsw really hurting swtor with it doing swtor one trick better than swtor while still being an actual mmo.
This is one MMO, where I thought the EA stamp wouldn't matter. Funcom is on on the other side of the planet, and EA is only co-publishing, etc, etc.. and yet now that I've played it, I can't help but wonder, if they pressured the devs into making the game a certain way, just the same. It feels lacking in some very EA-familiar sorts of ways.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
WIth EA's reputation in the gaming business how can anyone NOT be concerned?
Just wait until EA buys out Funcom. Then you'll really hear the screams of the damned.
-Letting Derek Smart work on your game is like letting Osama bin Laden work in the White House. Something will burn.-
-And on the 8th day, man created God.-
If you know that, then why are you surprised they didn't mention it.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

I don't care if EA made or produced or whatever. EA's logo on the cover = automatic no preorder. I'm not saying that I will never buy it or that EA can goto hell. What I am saying is that I will not buy another EA game until it has been at least 3-6 months after launch. That way I can read the reviews of "normal people" not the beta fanboy/haters, and it might give them enough time to correct the game breaking bugs that WILL be part of launch.
I'll check out TSW, after I grow bored of D3 and GW2. Hopefully it will be on sale for 20 bucks or something by then.

when mom pays for the games .. who cares if they suck?
LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already
Thing is, TSW is a Funcom game not an EA game. EA has nothing to do with the game except distribution. They had no part in any development decisions or decisions period. You shouldn't not try the game just because of EA.
EA has its name stamped on a whole crap ton of absolutely amazing games. They may be greedy but the games with their name on it are usually pretty damn exceptional.
I was pretty surprised how good The Secret Worlds graphics were when playing for myself. No video ive seen yet does it justice. The music is also very beautiful.
I got turned off after entering the open world tho and began really questing. The solo combat was too slow for me. The first 10 mins of the game tho i was pretty wow'd by it, i thought it was a very nice pace moving through the introduction. The game itself is very high quality, impressive mmorpg.

EA dictates the release date and manages advertising, they also hold a huge part of the game shares.
/shrug each their own, I still wont buy tsw even tho like the beta sofar, im sure they dont care nor should anyone else, its a personal preference not to be F**in the A..wallet again.
Source for that please. There has never been any indication that EA dictates anything Funcom does.
No what is personal preference is to not buy the game due to reasons. It is an opinion that people who buy it will be F***ed in the "wallet" again. Please do not imply that those of use who bought the game are just bending over. We actually like the game and don't care about the EA stamp.
Where are you getting this info exactly? Why would a company not developing the game force a launch? How do you know its not the other way around with EA just getting the distibution rights?
Its like saying frogster has can tell...whatever game they are hosting when they can launch the game they simply hold the distribution rights to...makes no sense.
Please toss me a link where it explains that EA will be dictating anything to the company making and developing the game that they bought the rights to distribute in NA (EU too?)
Its not like it matters...people who dislike funcom are going to find every and any reason not to play...other than simply just avoiding the game like any normal person not interested would do. Hell people who already posted several reasons they wont be playing and now using this info as the new reason for not playing. Any reason will do for some.
And FFS will we please stop arguing over how launch will be...everyone knows its going to be more rough than most games...prepare or deal with it...we should all know this by now with funcom. If you cant handle a non-perfict launch why even bother playing the beta and preordering this one? It so hard to wait?
Come on guys.
Funcom has shown us over the past 12 years that they are perfectly capable of destroying their own games with out any outside assistance. I'd be more worried about the Funcom logo on this game than I am about EA...
Nobody needed to look beyond the Funcom to care if any other destroyer of games has their hands in it...Funcom is more than enough and anyone that thinks otherwise is off their rocker.
Fool me once shame on you...fool me...cant get fooled again. Even Bush agreed, Funcom does not get a third chance.

Yeah like they destroyed anarchy online....wait thats been running since 2001....oh right when they destroyed AoC...no wait thats still running too...
Which game was it again?
Or are you basing that on an arbitrary sub number that must be met for a game to not be destroyed? If so what number did we decide on ?
It's a warning label. *grin*
Are you seriously so delusional that you dont see the truth behind my statement?
Anarchy Onlines launch and subsequent six months post was absolutely abysmal. They had more server crashes in the first 72 hours than any mmorpg ever has. Thats an actual statement from one of the developers I talked with at a Gamestop advertising meeting with them. They did turn the game around and fix the issues but it was never what most people would call an even remote success.
AoC wasn't much better. The game launched with a terrible lack of content. Everything petered out at 52 and end game was horribly broken / not implemented. Whoever thought one end game zone for the entire game was a good idea should simply be put out of his misery. How bout end game pvp not having rewards for months after launch? Delayed patches over and over? How bout sieges being broken for like what over a year?
Yep funcoms awesome, flawless record, I should invite their development team over to date my daughter.
Er what game are you playing? Graphics are awful, as is the animation and sound. Core concept is great but the rest is..ugh.
EA is the deathknell for any mmo.
I too think the grapjics look great.
