Hello MMORPG community,
Some members on this site suggested Tera for me, and they were right. I am loving the game so far. I am running into a hardware problem. I am preparing to buy a new computer within the next few months, but it would be really helpful to know if its my hardware or Tera at fault here.
I am aware that there is a ui bug in the game that causes some lost of fps, and there are some talk about some issues with certain graphic cards. With all this hardware issues going around I am completely lost as to what I can do to make Tera run more smoothly on my rig.

All that looks like it should run pretty good, I don't have much better and the game runs great for me.
Try playing with your Nvidia settings, I know this sounds weird, but I've run into games before that actually ran better with higher AA options and whatnot applied.
He has a 560, even if it's not the Ti version it should still be sufficient for TERA. From whats been listed so far the CPU does look like the weak link but i couldn't say whether it's the cause as when i tried TERA i used an i5.
I will try to play around with the settings. Thank you.
Yeah I manage to upgrade my graphic card and ram, but my CPU is still the same one I got when I bought this computer in 2008.
I always throw this in on these type of threads. Make sure your cpu isn't overheating. If it's been a while since you have opened up the case, blow out the heatsink, or better yet if you know how, take it off, clean it, and get some good thermal paste and remount it. Blow out everything including the video card. I have helped people with computer problems and the first thing I do for them is clean out the computer. Most people just take it for granted the thing gets dusty, but it can have a big effect on performance. Other than that, the computer itself looks like it should run the game and perhaps Quizzical can help more. He is the "Rainman" of computer hardware here.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
My CPU temp is always lower than my system temp, and I know the temperature of my system normally hits 51 C while playing Tera (off my head I think thats somewhere near 126 F).
I try to keep my computer pretty clean with those air cans, but I will try sticking that straw pass the heat sink and fan.
Thank you.
