U.S. Military = Imperial forces. :D

I'm pro U.s. Lemme just get that outa the way.

But what i think is neat is the U.S. Has the best and most advanced army in the world right?

Well, sounds alot like the Empire to me. with out the force.....or a death star.

    I think more of the middle east as being the empire.

    They are sitting on their oil fields making trillions of dollars off of the rest of the world while their citizens live in abject poverty as they feed them propaganda that the west, the U.S. and Isreal are the reason they live in squalor.

    Meanwhile, the sheiks and princes and kings live in palaces with 30 wives and drive rolls royces and silver plated audis, eating the finest foods, consuming alcohol and tobacco that their citizens are forbidden by muslim law to consume, while said citizens starve and fashion car bombs to blow up businesses and marketplaces of hardworking innocent bystanders in the name of Allah and martyrdom.

    But that's just me.

    Neither is correct and I could argue about the Middle East and the US involvement in other countries' internal affairs, but let's not have that conversation again, it'll be long, tiresome and prolly neither side would stop backing its arguments.

    The Empire is more or less a fascist dictatorship. It's an authoritarian state with a large police force, that allows private business and corporate power, while still having total control of the market and economy. Therefore, the closest RL relevant case would be the European fascist regimes before the 2nd World War.
