Which one of the next-gen systems are you getting and how come your choice?

I picked the 360 cus I guess I'm a fanboi but recently I have been thinking about getting my money back for my reservation of 360 and just building a comp cus I mainly like fps' and when you have played fps' on computers there is no comparison to console fps. But I'm looking forward to Oblivion and NFS.

x360, I like their online packages a lot. At least, the promise of them. Should be good for MMOs.
PS3, I don't know. Rumors have it that it will be very hard to develop for, so the first of the MMOs to come out on it will have a hard time being MMOs, I think.
Considering that SONY said that the PSIII could cost from $500-$700 dollars at E3 and in recent press conferences, I am undecided.

Sony have the most powerful console and the better games
xbox just seems to focus online that you have to pay for like a mmorpg :S What a rip off when u can just play online games on ur pc or for free on playstation. Also the xbox games seem to come off the pc or other consoles!
It's popular in America but thats because Americans buy American products
nintendo arnt in any war, because they make loads of profit and dont need to compete :P

The xbox 360 is a $400 console unless u want the crap version!
I see this as a mistake to micrsoft because that makes the harddrive useless as not everyone will have one.
Sonys console will launch at $400 at the highest :P

i heard that nvidia will be making a new chip or re designing the 7800 chip to use in the ps3. and i heard that ATI will be working for 360 in graphics. i am positive about the nvidia thing, and almost positive on the ATI thing.
I also herard that SONY will be making a processer which runs on Terahertz (1000 gigahertz) and using it in the ps3. i didnt belive it of course. that is ludicrous.
but i voted for 360 because the xbox's graphics were much better than the ps2's. and the fact that you can have a hard drive. i saw the gears of war demo and i was like OMG XBOX 360 IS TEH OWN4g3
Sry to say sacky but the 360 does have better graphics than ps2 but from what they showed ps3 has better than 360. I hope that those graphics were pre-rendered but if the ps3 graphx aren't pre-rendered I will drop 360 to it's death.
E for Effort on the Nvidia chip for ps3 but no cigar. They made a new chip called the RSX chip and the 7800gtx is pretty close to what the rsx is gonna be like. They acctually used dual 7800 gtx's in the development kits for ps3.
I don't think it's terahertz but what you mean is teraflops. The ps3 can reach close or right at 2 teraflops which is amazing.
ATI did make 360's graphics card this time around instead of Nvidia and the card is supposed to be about one or two cards ahead of 850.

Xbox does have a powerful online and that is one of their strong points. The reason why ppl liked xbox over ps2 ,and it was better than it so don't try and tell me different, was because of the graphx,hd space, and online. Sony is claiming to have the most powerful console but we will just have to wait and see as we all know the big companies these days are scam artists *cough EA cough*.
Playstation and xbox will probably make people pay for mmo's and the better thing about consoles are the controllers, along with multiplayer (not online)
Americans don't just buy American products, we buy the best that is out at the time and Xbox was the best. Most of the xbox games were original from what I'v played and didn't ps2 get the same games off the pc right along with the xbox.
Nintendo isn't really faring to well and are trying to break away and diverse themselves so they can make more money. Let's just agree that gamecube wasn't a huge success or money maker. Nintendo is in the war they just are using different tactics kinda like Nam or The Iraq war with suicide bombers.
Do you really trust Sony with a world realease cus I think they are going to flub up just like with the PSP and you brits won't be seeing the ps3 for a couple months after.

Nintendo may not be the most powerful console, or have the best graphics, but Nintendo is the most inventive of all 3 of the companies.
Nintendo has always been different from Sony and Microsoft, while Sony and Microsoft are both after pretty much after the same type of gamer. Because of this a lot of the 3rd party games on Nintendo aren't always the best, but if you look at the Nintendo games on Nintendo consoles, they are all amazing.
The money is made in the software, not the hardware. Microsoft Sony and Nintendo lose money each time someone buys one of there consoles.
Nintendo is playing to it's audience, and as long as they do that they will be fine.
