Oh yea, now ill be known as Legend of the Mists in GW2!

How many HoM points do you guys have?

Now Ive gone up from 40 to 45, probably going to stop there since its just too much grind to get the last five points.

I worked my way up to 30 and stopped. I mainly wanted the items and the pets and such as I almost never use titles in games, unless they are funny. Besides anything after 30 takes a long time to grind and I just didn't have the patience for it.

Same story here. I already had the titles I wanted.

It's not that hard to achieve 50 if you play it anyways. Do the zaishen stuff for example. It get's you around, through dungeons for the EotN titles, vanquishing another batch of points and even faction if it's in the Jade Sea or Echovald, and you make some money with it, meaning you can buy stoff like armor.

Throw in some PVP or zaishen battles and you even get enough balthazar points to buy all the zaishen keys needed for the single PVP title. Or you buy it with the money made from doing the zaishen stuff from the Great Temple of Balthazar/Embark Beach.

If you do not play regularly, it might be harder, but still achieveable.

Remember that you do not need to max it out in a week or even a month, you still have (most likely) several months before Guild Wars 2 will be released, and you can still work on your HoM afterwards. This way, it isn't really grinding, at least most of it ain't ;)

I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore

Up to 46 points myself, but I've had the luxury of time for that. By the time HoM was announced I was already at over 30 from playing the game for years. The rest was only a matter of finishing what was already nearly complete. If I were to start now though, I doubt I'd ever get up to 46, most likely stopping at 30 for the actual item reward. No way I'll be getting 50 points either, too much grind for a slightly different title.

    I only have 26 points. =/

I can't stand GW1 at all... I bought it ,played for a week, quit. I try to jump back in to play but I just can't take it. The graphics make me cringe to much and it feels just so bland to me. Fortunately I don't care all that much about GW2 so its not a huge deal for me.

The game is the opposite of fun for me.  Feels like a grind.  I'm a masochist though and am going for 30 points.  3 points (literally 1 unique mini) away now which is just a small platinum grind and having trouble bringing myself to do it despite being so close.  I feel bad for my buddy who is 18/30 at the moment and hates the game as much as I do.

I remember liking the game back when I first played it in beta, though those were the old EQ days before WoW.  Now, GW1 just has so many old school design decisions that aren't fun at all.  I won't go into detail of all of them unless asked though.

Got to 30 and stopped. Couldn't possibly care less about titles.

If it helps your motivation at all, you can get that last unique mini by doing a scavange hunt. As long as you own all the campaigns. You'll need a bit of plat, but not all that much compared to buying one.

Yeah, I did that for the unique mini requirement.  It was a pain.

Currently at 14 points and I started few days after BWE1 (well restarted, I played the original for short time but account details and code long forgotten). Only got Nightfall and EotN though so it's a bit challenging to find proper builds for a lot of content (grinding), missing a lot of skills and of those available to me haven't been able to get enough gold yet to unlock / capture them all. Aiming at 15 to get black moa.

At 25 points and that is really all I need. Unless someone wants to give me some tormented weapons, unique minipets, or obsidian armor :p

Long time GW player so when the HoM arrived I was alread at 35 and after putting some titles and stuff there it was enough to be like 42 or so. Then I finished GWAMM and got the 50.

Slowly getting some stuff on my second account which is at 15 points or so.

    Currently playing: GW2
Going cardboard starter kit: Ticket to ride, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Dominion, 7 Wonders

I only have 3 so far, have a lot of work to do. If I can ever bring myself to login and play it. The controls and character movement I just absolutely despise in the game. Feels way too slow for me most of the time. Plus the fact that I find myself just soloing with 7 AI players. I play MMO's to group and socialize, not to grind with stupid AI for hours on end :P

It just feels like it is going to take forever to get any points :P Like weeks upon weeks of play.
