As title says...from what you have seen...what are you looking forward to most in Guild Wars 2?
I'm looking forward to the DAOC style PvP. And also to explore all the cities, since they are MASSIVE...and actually cities, not tiny villages, that are mis-named cities.
The exploration sounds awesome too. Find hidden areas and what not, just by exploring. That is really neat.
What about you guys?

exploring the world.
World vs World.
Asuran. Hands down. Asuran.
An MMO with little/no grind and a gameplay experience which is actually meant to be enjoyed.
EDIT: I just noticed who it was who started this thread. -.- This is probably going to get interesting...
So are you buying the game, or are you not?

To be perfectly honest....absolutely everything this game has to offer
Honestly i'm not sure. I try to avoid too many deatils outside of learning the classes i like in BWE's and have the picture in my head of all out PvP all day long, every day.
I've been sick and tired of games where PvP is an afterthought for years. So while i'm looking forward to PvP the game is all about it and ive no idea which part of it i look forward to the most. Can i say all of it? :P
Edit - in hindsight that was really badly written but i'm sure you get the jist of the post.
I really don't know. It's weird, but i don't feel there's anything in the game that screams like it's the best part. I'm not saying it sucks, but between events, wvw, structured pvp, explorating the world, dungeons, etc, they're all equally nice too me.
But, it might be the final battle against Zhaitan.
selling point for me is the variety of stuff I can do, thus not getting bored too fast. I also like the combat and I am in love with my guardian tank
Yeah, this is another big one for me. Just so much stuff to do. That was one reason I lasted so long in WoW, was just the large variety of things one could do. In GW2, there is an even bigger variety.
The non directed questing / lack of quest hubs / exploring.
Once I figured out how this worked in BWE1 I completely fell in love with the questing style in GW2. If you just follow the Hearts you miss out on so much.
I found myself really really enjoying wandering around a zone, exploring, and experiencing the dynamic events that happened as I was doing it.
Cluck Cluck, Gibber Gibber, My Old Mans A Mushroom
Yes, I would really like to see how ANet designed that battle.
^^ I feel the same. It's simply the best, and most unique, feature of the game
Block the trolls, don't answer them, so we can remove the garbage from these forums
I have seen the release date, and am most looking forward to that
On a more serious note, the exploration in the game is probably the thing that is going to be the most fun for me.
The pvp, non- grind PVE, and how I can build my class however I want.
Played-Everything
Playing-LoL
Finally playing my real characters
Respect, walk
Are you talkin' to me? Are you talkin' to me?
- PANTERA at HELLFEST 2023
The storyline for each race (especially Norn and Sylvari)
Get back to some good time exploring. If I go ranger, taming all of the beasts haha. Being able to play more than 2-3 day period once every couple months
Everything
I've recently been informed Jennifer Hale is doing VO for this.
I MUST LISTEN TO THEM! :P

My REFUND!!!!!!
LOL Just jokin :P
The world in general is very well done, it's openess and freeform is very nice, and the events are killer!
However,...theres one feature I just love!
And that is the under water stuff! Just thought " WoW this is cool!" switching to a spear or speargun under water , fighting underwater and I hope there's dungeons there too! The graphics are very very nice, I love the fact that GW2 is more PvE then GW1, the PvP is going to be a blast as well!
Exploration and trap filled hard dungeons.
Yep there are underwater dungeons, and even an underwater pvp map. You are in for a treat because the devs have said the underwater content will be at least 1/3 of all there is to do.
The feeling of being comepletely clueless and lost...trying to find my way around the world, my weapons, new cities...all the while recognizing where I am, wondering how the world got to this place from the original. I guess that means the exploration part of the game....
What I'm looking forward to is the combination of everything and not having to grind in it.
I like PVE sometimes, I like PVP too.
If I don't feel like PVPing one day and just want to go do some PVE team events out in the world, I'll be able to do so without feeling like I'm falling behind or spending my time suboptimally when I should have been grinding tokens for items/pvp points/whatever.
What makes me quit MMOs is when I'm not logged in, feeling not only like I need to, but that I need to log in and do a specific thing which I might not feel like doing at the moment.
