Good Game but No Ingame Support

Funcom has always had a problem with customer support. This game which is Very cool has No ingame GMs at all yet probably because it's so new and they haven't had time for volunteers to join up. But still Funcom should have put some of their own people in there in to help out us noobs. And it really does need it at this point. Typical Funcom, *Sigh*.  Enjoy the game though and it's especially cool if your a reader of H.P Lovecraft.

    You know about the /peition function right? It will take up to four hours to get back with you though.

    No I did not know about the petition process or that it takes so long to get a reply, which goes along with what I'm saying about Funcom's lack of customer service in game. Thanks for the reply. :)

    They are real quick too :) If it's a easy one like an item, they may not respond and just fix it before you know it.

    You see gms running around in game too. Ingame support is pretty good imo.

    You seriously think a 1-4 hour response time during the launch week of a highly anticipated title is too long for a response?

    Come back to reality man, you're living in a fucking dreamworld (no pun intended, but I doubt you'll get the reference anyway).That is an obscenely fast response time for everything they have going on right now.

    You were not even aware of the petition command, which is standard in every FunCom game, yet you complained that there is no ingame support, when there is.

    What a tool.

    I've used the in game petition 3 times now and all my petition have been handled in less than 30 min....maybe i'm lucky ^^

    I can see people who don't like the combat.. or difficulty.. or anything else.. but the support? Really??

    Their support is the best I've seen in any MMO.  Hell, their support is better than my freaking credit card company.

    Funcom support has fixed any issue I've ever had in TSW... all the way from beta to release, including lost items and buggest quests (advancing them for you).

    Times are a bit long right now with release but it'll calm down.

    Tried to do a petition in World of Warcraft a few months back; estimated wait time was a couple of days - so I'm well satisfied with a few hours!

    Also for account stuff, you can contact their live chat; It takes less than five minutes.

    I've contacted support several times in game.  They are great and very responsive.  More than any game I've played before....  30 minutes to 2 hours have been my response times.  Better they stick with me till I'm statisfied.  Totally awesome compared to any other game I've played so I'd love to know what you are comparing it too.

    The only GM i've seen (my petition was handled via tells) was checking for a potential exploit in Fusang, personally.

     

    Don't have bad experiences with GM's, CS or petitions in this game, so far.

    What are you talking about? I have peititioned over half a dozen times and each time a GM ingame responds. Once or twice they came in person once I was in a safe area.

    Oh look, TSW's CS is bad, but GW2's is amazing! Even in Beta!
