I am looking for a good sandbox MMO. I know there are some out there, and I wanted to get the opion of other gamers befor i jump into anouther mmo. I do enjoy crafting even though it is not somthing that will stop me from playing a game I do like to have a good crafting system in a game.

If you like the building aspect of crafting, try A Tale in the Desert.
If you like the economic side of crafting then check out EVE Online.
If you like to craft all sorts of usable stuff for all types of character professions, check out Ultima Online.
If you like mindless busy work, try Aion.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Eve online takes a lot of time and effort in order to get anywhere I found personally. Not good if you have a family and a 1 and a half year old runing under your feet as your trying to game.
Might I make another suggestion? While not really a game game per say it si a social mmo if you want to just be sociable. Second life is a good option in this field I find personally
