engineer fits in with their lore the most.
Engineer hands down. Plus engineers are pretty badass in general.
If I had to put a close second I would say guardian. And that's only because they kinda look like megaman.
Elementalist for sure. Only the highly intelligent Asura can master the elements into a chaotic storm that enemy armies flee from.
Engineer gets my vote.
Asura guardians with two-handed hammers are just kick-ass.
They're damn creepy to me, like little gnomes... so necromancer it is for my Asura.
Theif, just because their animations are so very awesome!
Necromancer and thief.
They have the best animations for both classes, in my opinion. Plus they look absolutely bad ass with that necromancer facepaint.
Even though Engineer falls even more in line with the Iron Legion and Charr...I loved my Asura Engineer in BWE3 and I miss her so much... Also, the Inquest armor set is tingling all my tender steampunk places and that armor just does not look as good on the Charr model...sadly...But that's just my opinion.
So Asura Engineer gets my vote....Thief second..necro 3rd...Mesmer last because, at least the character creation intro (high level looking/pre-customization of your character) armor looks so boring compared to other Mesmer races. That being said...it did fit with the geometric accessories.
Sorry, newbie question as still learning about GW2 (although did play the Asura in the last beta) - if I went Engineer (which is what I was planning), but then everyone else went Engineer as well (as it seems from the first responses) then UNLIKE games like WoW, am I right that we can still all group up and do content as well as if we were all different classes?
What I mean is, in other MMO's you have to have X number of Y class to make an effective group - this is not the case with GW2 right?
I just dont want to roll a class, then find everyone else has that class, and find I cant get an invite to a group cos they have their "Engineer Quota" and have to go and roll something else!
Thanks

Asura warriro had great moves.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
